Although you probably don't know it you were my walking partners this evening. I really was feeling kind of droopy this evening and although I thought of sticking around the house for some type of workout I decided that the best thing to do was get out and pound some pavement. I really would have liked a walking partner but just don't have that person so I spent the 2+ miles thinking about all you guys. All kinds of conversations and thoughts going through my head as if you were with me. Funny stories, thoughts of how we can inspire, motivate or just lend some kind words to make someone feel better. So even though you weren't with me physically thanks for being there and putting some positive thoughts back into my somewhat distracted mind! It did by the way relieve the cramps, help the mindset and generally just made me feel better.

Susan what a lovely post! You know, I think of you girls often throughout my day also. I don't have alot of close friends but I sure feel the ones on the boards are the best friends I could ever have. Glad to hear you had a good walk. Please take care of yourself and know I'll be there on your next walk if you need a buddy!

Hugs, lisa

Susan - thanks for the sweet post. I do the same thing when I don't want to go face the dreadmill or the dungeon, and between thoughts of everyone here and DH's kind encouragement, I do eventually make it down there and feel better.

Hugs back,

Susan, what a lovely post! I think of you all often myself and remember things that have been posted on the board or try to imagine the funny chaos when we meet in Asheville. Now, if I could just get those thoughts to motivate me to exercise regularly... ;-)

Susan what a nice thing to post. I often think of all you ladies too, it is the reason I have not thrown the towel in. Although there have been many times I wanted to.

I've done that too. Not for walking so much as just working out in general. Thinking about all the ladies here really inspires me to get going.

Glad you got out and that your walk helped you feel better.
