I'm home and still in one piece...

Of course after sitting with 24 oz of water in my belly for 1 1/2 hrs as I was told 2x that it had to be done....it didn't! The tech said that there was no need to drink anything for the internal sonogram but to make it worthwhile she did it both ways...not to let that water go to waste...! I've called the dr's office to let them know I had the test and really hoping that I will have some news by this evening. Anyway I'm home with a headache the size of some large major state which I'm not sure is from being tired, nerves not eating or all of the above and sipping an iced coffee which tastes oh so good. I'm now headed upstairs to perhaps find something to eat since I haven't had anything since 6:30 this morning and reclining on the couch and maybe inserting a movie into the DVD player.

I'm glad for you that it's over. Now just the waiting - what a bother!

Sorry about your headache, I can sure relate. If I wait too late for a meal, I'll get one that doesn't go away until after a night's sleep, and then it still may linger (like this morning's which finally vamoosed). Hormones will do it too. Take it easy for the rest of the day as planned.

Susan, I'm hoping you have positive results.

For headaches I have a habit of taking

heavy duty Exedrin, tho I know alot of

people won't take that.

Hugs,

.

I learned my lesson with heavy-duty Excedrin a while back. It's so loaded with caffeine to get into your system quickly that it can cause a rebound headache if you don't keep your caffeine levels up, so you keep taking it for relief and increasing the dose. I dumped a whole bottle of the stuff down the toilet after a doozy of a headache and heart palpitation episode (between the Excedrine and my daily big bucket of coffee, I had downed the equivalent of caffeine in 9 cups of coffee within a couple of hours). No more, ever. Now it's Advil for that monthly hormonal headache that arrives like clockwork as AF appears, and strictly decaf beverages, thanks! And I stay mostly headache free, unless the weather really aggravates me.

Sounds like a combination of things have conspired against your achin' head. Take it easy the rest of the day, call for takeout, and try to get a good night's rest - or is your favorite beast expecting a walk this evening?

Hope you hear the results soon.
