Time to confess your sins (at least the ones you can post about), admit your defeats, OR brag on your successes today. Who's first?

Oh boy I can't wait to hear the confessions. Hope they are juicy ones!

Ok, I'll go first......my only sin today was one small ice cream cone which I had with George......Oh, alright but a girl can dream can't she?Of course I didn't have ice cream ;)

I just got back from the track and DH is fixing stuff in CL so the computer was free.(I swear it's not something I broke.)I did 5 miles running and then walked one more mile.It was warm but not very humid and there was a nice breeze.Eating has gone very well today.

Today I woke up with a list of things a mile long to get done.I think 2 things got accomplished. But DH was home and I had the chance to get away from the birds and spend time with friends so it was time well spent.Tomorrow I'll get back to the list and more time with my feathered friends.

Coming back later to read others confessions......

No confessions here. Unless you want me to make something up.....lol. Busy day at work and a beautiful day weather wise. Going to dinner soon to celebrate my middle sons 15th birthday. All else is quiet and that is fine with me.

Absolutely positively no confessions from me other than the only workout this girl is getting is sitting in a chair observing a new workout tape. I 'm learning a watched phone never rings or at least not for me! I did sit on the big comfy couch and watch Mystic River this afternoon before I had to return it to the video store-OK DS did that for me. I can't complain I haven't eaten well since I really didn't eat today. Dinner was whatever looked edible and not too freeze burnt for human comsuption. That's about the day-still considering a walk with my favorite beast then again my chair in the backyard may be calling my name instead. Anyway that's the day, thinking 2 more Advil before bed this evening as the tail end of the headache still lingers on.

Hey, where's all the juicy confessions?

Goodness, what wild lives we lead!! I'm breathless reading here. LOL.

I'm confessing....I have nothing to add to spice things up, either. Too virtuous today - I ate well (that salad was really good), didn't take the marathon walk at lunchtime I thought I might (walking buddy had already left for a yoga class near the office), snacked healthy, and did a good cardio and LB workout (had to, to make up for that lackluster cardio effort last evening). I still haven't prepared dinner, and probably won't make a big deal. DH is in vacation mode (work is slow and he's taking the next 2 days off) and not hungry, and there's a raft of food in the fridge that I can graze from and not do a lot of damage. As long as I stay away from the remnants of the flag cake....

Patty - Ice cream? With George? Well, at least someone was thinking sinful thoughts!

Deb - Happy Birthday to your son. Hope the Mexican food was tasty and the family dinner was pleasant.

Susan - Your evening sounds so relaxing. You deserve it.

Nancy - Yup, sometimes routine is best.

Going to peruse the offerings in the fridge now.

Not an exciting day and no sins to speak of. I'm trying really hard to get that last pound off so I'm just enjoying my low carb eating plan.

Went to my first Pilates class with a new teacher and it was hard! I've been in the same Pilates class for a couple of years but that teacher is away for three months, so I found a new one. From being the fittest in a beginner/intermediate class I am now the least fit in an intermediate class. I'm sure that's good for me but it was hard nonetheless.

Otherwise a quiet day: eldest DS (7) threw up first thing in the morning then seemed fine, but I postponed our weekly trip to the library, so we just mooched around the house for the afternoon.

I cooked pork tenderloin last night but wasn't very happy with the results. Does anyone have any good recipes?

Forgive my MBF (menopause brain fog) but I can't remember if you told us about your diet plan.

Second day of a decent breakfast, healthy snacks and no sweets or chips (or booze, LOL!), and I did much better. B'fast: 1/2 English muffin with p'butter, scrambled egg, tall glass of milk, and watermelon. Lunch: Protein shake with a banana, munched a sampling of popcorn shrimp and french fries (both baked) with the kids. Dinner: tuna cakes, whole grain rice & peas for dinner. Snacks throughout the day: a handful of Cracklin' Oat Bran at the pool (1/2 cup, maybe), a peach, one of Al's string cheese thingies, and strawberries. Could be doing better on the water intake, I guess, though I'm bumping up my milk intake too. Workout was great too - a full hour of cardio, some with weights, and my abs work.

Good news is that I'm not craving the things I've cut out - not yet, anyway. I'm already feeling better than I did on Monday, though I doubt the measurements have changed. Overall, a successful day. If there's any defeat, it's my inability to get up early enough to run - it's too hot still in the evenings, and frankly, it's pretty muggy in the mornings. I miss running, but that's why I did the cardio last night.
