HI Phyllis...long time no see! Sounds like you've been busy and having fun! What am I thankful for today? Well, lets see:

1. My beautiful beautiful grandson who is doing very well.

2. That my dd is slowly getting better.

3. That my back too is slowly getting better but doesn't hurt enough where I can't continue with my morning runs.

4. For my dh, three wonderful children, and one fantastic dil.

5. That the rain has finally stopped for a few days and we'll be seeing that sunshine once again.

Good Morning,

Phyllis, so wonderful to see a post from you! We miss you around here!

Well the lovely sunny day has gone somewhere else and has been replaced by some gray skies and humidity. But the past few days have been so gorgeous I guess we need a bad one to appreciate the good.

Well it's back to work...again...this has just been such a wierd work week and it's actually almost over. Flo is being a very nasty house guest and I'm really not appreciating it! I haven't had cramps and lower back pain like this since I don't know when. So looks like the Advil will need to be cracked open again today. I'm not sure what's on the workout agenda for today but I'll figure that out later.

Thankfuls:

1. The beautiful summer days we've had.

2. Good medical test results for both DD and DH

3. The friendship and support of all the wonderful woman of this board.

4. A very understanding boss.

5. And big bottles of Advil for aches and pains here there and everywhere!

Hope your Thursday is full of blessings for you!

Great to see you too, ma'am!

Thankfuls:

1) For my job - Much as I b*^&h about it, it's mostly good, helps keep us housed/fed/comfy, and gives us the opportunity to help with the little ones' futures.

2) For my DH - I really do adore and appreciate him, even when he makes me crazy. And I know I make him crazy, but he just smiles and goes on.

3) For my niece and nephew - Having them close by is such a boon for us; they give me perspective on what's real, important, true, and wonderful. Wish the other little one lived nearby.

4) Healing. My thumb is still sore, but it's not preventing me from doing things anymore.

5) Silly one - a full refrigerator. Whether I indulge or hold back, it's a huge comfort to know hunger isn't part of my daily life. A full fridge is meaningful to me. Why, I'm not sure, except that it makes me feel secure. Always has.

OK. Plans are to have a productive, pleasant day at work, and to do cardio and UB work at the intensity I did yesterday on the LB work. Eating plans - just keep on the track I've been on. We haven't dined out this week at all so it's been easy to stick to a good routine with lots of salads and veggies and good cookout food. Lunch will be a salad with oil and balsamic vinegar and lots of fiber-filled tasty stuff, as usual, and dinner is the leftover gazpacho with chopped ham or Canadian bacon - I'll decide when I get to the store. DH is on vaca for a couple of days, so he'll be grazing all day and won't likely care about dinner tonight.

More clouds and muggies today. We get little breaks of the nice stuff, but not enough.

Have a wonderful day, y'all!

Good to see you again Phyllis! "Beautiful Babes"... yanno, this morning I do feel beautiful, so it was so neat to see this upbeat note today.

Thankfuls:

  • Husband and kiddo, of course, but also my dear MIL and the special bond we share

  • The ability to change eating habits, with strength and guidance from Above

  • The health and stamina to exercise, again a blessing from Above

  • Online friendships

  • Sunny days - they've been steaming here in SC, and I wouldn't mind them a bit cooler, but the sunshine has been wonderful!

Today, I've got TPDL Bible study in about 25 minutes - gotta go right after this, in fact. I need to do my menu planning today AND grocery shopping, so that'll take care of my 15 minute project. Body Sculpt for a workout, continuing on the same path for eating as in the last two days. I'm also going to start MIL's USA shirt today - the cotton shirt shrank more than I expected, so I got another shirt to paint.

Have a great one ladies!

Good morning Phyllis, so nice to hear from you. Well our sun is peaking out inbetween the clouds and its humid with the chance of a thunder storm or two. Eatting last night was not good. Unless you count twin seafood enchillada's as healthy, chips with salsa and sangria. But it sure was yummy. Even sand Happy Birthday to my son with the waiters...lol. The resturant is just a block over on Main Street so Katie and opted to walk there and back. Felt good and I soooo needed it. Slept in this morning and just need to motivate myself into cleaning up around here. My 15 minute project will be to run to the post office and the bank. I have tons of laundry and beds to make and they take way longer then 15 minutes to do. I am heading upstairs with my 2 mile WAP video and I plan to do it in the bedroom with the AC on. I also need to call my girl friend from Florida. She is leaving on Saturday and taking her mom back with her for 2 weeks. So we want to get together for a few hours later this afternoon.

My thankfuls usually seem to be the same each week but here they are:

1. My family, despite my moods and what they do or don't do they all have good hearts. It was very obvious last night at dinner.

2. My new job with Tom and the chance to pick up and contiue without loosing a beat.

3. My online friends with your push and support to help me continue even though I seem to be swimming upstream.

4. My beautiful house and all that I have around me. I seem to take most of it for granted too often.

5. My best friend from high school, that we are still connected and there for each other regaurdless of the miles inbetween.

PHYLLIS! Great to see you post again. We've missed you.

My computer at home has a nasty virus that will require a pro to straighten it out. I'm using one at Tim's office now. Just lost a whole
