It's a beautiful day here, and I hope you all are sharing in the sunshine and warmth. The sky is so blue it hurts to look at it, the sun is brilliant, and there's a wonderful dry breeze in the air that is going to help clear up the damp feeling in my house.
Going to get ready to head outside in a bit, for a quick breakfast and a haircut and a little bit of window shopping. Going to enjoy today completely, as I have to go into the office for a couple of hours on Sunday to prepare a review document for first thing Monday am.
A word about Turkish food. Try it if you get a chance! Very fresh and tasty with wonderful aromas and spices. Last night I had orange garlic shrimp - a twist on the traditional lemon and lime with seafood, and a touch of tamarind and some other spices I couldn't identify. Lovely!
I think there's going to be a long walk outdoors sometime today for me - it's too nice to stay inside doing laundry....
Have a beautiful Saturday, everyone!

We must be sharing the same all too beautiful Saturday weather. I've been out for my 3 mile walk, headphones attached to my head with some good music and came back sufficiently sweaty and gross for everyone to say yewwwww gross! While I was still good and nasty did some weeding in my flower bed so that my shower would be very productive.
I'm really not sure what's on the agenda today-the house is torn apart in anticipation of the guy doing the sheetrock in the living room next week so pretty pointless to attempt any type of housecleaning. I do need to hit the grocery store and get some edible food substances in the house and perhaps throw some laundry into the machine. I think that there is a concert down in the park this evening so that maybe on the schedule for this evening.
Hope you're enjoying a Sizzlin'Saturday in your neck of the woods!
Susan
Just got back from a walk at the track with my sister.Rest of the day will work in CL, finish some mowing and hopfully hit my hammock.
Hope everyone has a great day!

i'm planning on working on editing, housechores (trying to turn this place into a little bit less of a disaster area), and doing some pushups today. my ex is working on his car and if he gets the damn thing running we can go over to the liquor store and pick up the champagne for my wedding.
have a great day everyone!
Had a great 5 mile powerwalk & weights workout this a.m. Made record time even with a phone call from ds exclaiming he lost his Aleve, 3 1/2 hrs. before their game. Crazy boy!
Our temps are so mild for July!!! Love it! It's very breezy out here today & it feels like it's in the 80's. Supposed to be in the 90's. Our landscapes on the trail were still blooming with gorgeous colors. The azaleas, crepe myrtles, etc. are loving all the rain we received.
Have a fun Saturday everyone!
Good afternoon, Donna and all! Too bad you have to work tomorrow Donna. Kind of breaks up the weekend a bit.
Enjoy your away time Nancy. See you Monday.
Great walk this morning Susan. I don't see any need to clean at all with the house upside down. I know I used that excuse as long as I could last summer when work was being done in my kitchen and the hardwood floors were being redone.
Good to see you are getting a lot out of your personal trainer, Anna. Great mix to do yoga in the morning to keep that flexibility.
How about you getting your run in at the track already today, Patty. Then you still are working in CL and mowing. I do hope you get time for your hammock.

Yes, so far so good at Steinmart. Just got a phone call that ds' team won their first tournament game - even won it by the 10 run rule! I plan on leaving tomorrow morning for Dallas & stopping by Cracker Barrel for breakfast. Patty & some of you other Cracker Barrel lovers, wish you could join me! I'm thinking I want to try those peach pancakes Rhonda's always raving about. I love breakfast foods!! Of course, miss carbqueen, here mainly loves the pancakes, waffles, scones, etc. on breakfast menus. This calls for a huge 6 mile powerwalk very early tomorrow morning to burn some butter. I have done really well with food so far, today.
DS' game doesn't begin until 5:30 p.m. tomorrow, so I wonder if I could just go shopping a little up there . . . hmmm, sounds good to me!
