Tuesday will soon be gone and I'm wondering how it was for you?

Hi Nanc! Sounds like you had a great day! Mine was pretty good as well. I had the morning off so I went for coffee with a friend I haven't spent time with in such a long time! I worked from 1-5, then drove to Mankato with dh and bought our brand new 2004 Dodge Dakota Quad Cab truck! It is AWESOME!!! Drove it home and got a visit from ds, dil, and my dear sweet little 2 week old grandson! Dil had a job interview today at a town very nearby us and it went VERY WELL! I pray so that she gets this job cause that would mean getting them out of the cities and back home near family (her parents live here in town also) AND I'd get to see my little grandson more! Keep your fingers crossed for her! Anyway, my grandson is still so darn cute, still has a ton of hair, and he's SO alert with his big beautiful eyes! Then when they left dh and I took the truck out for a spin....I DROVE THIS TIME! It was SO FUN! I'm inlove with my truck! hahaha!

Oh Phyllis and Lori! I got on the internet and checked out glucosamine and found a website with lots of info. I ordered a months supply of Flexicose to try. I'll let you know how that goes once I start it. Thanks for the advise!

Tweety hugs to you all!

No workout after all. Up too early, home too late, dinner too late, and on and on....

This time crunch is coming to an end Thursday. I'll be returning to some sense of "normal" as soon as I start spending more time at home than in the bin-de-loon.

TTFN...

As far as eating and working out go, great! Again, I ate a healthy breakfast, avoided sweets and fatty snacks even at the pool, skipped the light beer for dinner. Breakfast was cottage cheese, fruit, whole wheat bread - no Pop Tart; lunch was the last of the pasta salad (and I probably had too much of that, but it also had things like kidney beans, eggs and smoked turkey sausage in it). Dinner, crispy baked chicken, cheese potatoes and green beans. Had fruit and Cracklin' Oat Bran cereal for snacks - the cereal makes a great pool-side snack. Workout was Body Sculpt and Tony Little's abs, and I ended up doing it *after* getting back from the pool.

But both Al and I were in cranky moods yesterday, and we got on each other's nerves at the pool. She's not gotten enough sleep the last few days, and I'm really fatigued this month's cycle. At 8:15 last night, I told Cus "Clock in as 'Dad', because I'm clocking out as 'Mom'." Some consolation, when we put her to bed, she admitted that she'd not been in a good mood! Interesting for a 5-yr old to note that.

I had a great day yesterday, Nancy! I powerwalked and powervacuumed!! DS' team won & yes, this time my Danny got to play and he got a hit. Hope they do well today, but the game begins at 5:30 so I won't get to see it.

I ate bunches of fresh fruit yesterday so my eating is getting back on track.

I had a great day at work, too, and visited with quite a few Realtors. They are like friends, really!
