Part 2 over and done with

and hoping that there is no need for a part 3. Word to the wise if you ever need to have an endometrial biopsy done-take someone with you. It's an uncomfortable test-tolerable but uncomfortable-however once it was over I was lightheaded and really not feeling like myself. I guess I looked the part too because she kept asking me if I was alright. Apparently so much so that I left before I was supposed to and without having my blood work done. I got a phone call as soon as I walked in the door. Although I didn't have to go back today I figured since I was home already I might as well get it over with. All but for the grace of the Good Lord looking out for me on the way there I nearly had my car creamed by someone coming straight through an intersection without being able to see through to the other side. Fortunately he wasn't going too fast and we were both able to stop in time but it certainly did put my heart into my throat. I then made it to the doctors office only to find a parking ticket on my car when I came out even though I had fed this stupid automated machine they have. I was so mad I headed over to Village Hall where they agreed I shouldn't have been issued a ticket and dismissed it. She made me a copy and I will need to keep it in a safe place-it's not that I don't trust people to do their job however.....Anyway, I'm going back to my couch, the tv, perhaps a book and a magazine pop 2 Advil for the crampiness and the household members will have to figure out dinner...for one I don't feel like it and two I've had a back up in the kitchen sink which extends into the sink in the bathroom and my dishwasher which can't be addressed until the plumber arrives tomorrow AM....sounds like 2 good reasons for takeout!

All in all, that sounds like a rather unpleasant afternoon for you.

Wow what a day you had! I had a biopsy done a little over a year ago and I didn't get light headed but did feel so invaded when it was over with. I just sat in my car and cried. Not a fun thing to go through. Hope you are feeling better. Get some rest....you deserve it! Take care....tweets

I've had cryotherapy done before which left me light-headed, so I can relate. Glad it's over with for you. Yikes on the near-accident, but glad both of you were able to do your part to prevent it.

I vote for the take out!

Susan - I'm sorry to hear that biopsy was so uncomfortable. But I'm glad your tests are over at last. And even more glad you and the other driver saw each other in time! I think you've earned your couch/hammock/Adirondack chair time with a nice tall icy glass of (LI) iced tea beside you.

Take care of yourself, and I hope the messy work on your house is winding down.
