Pretty mellow day around here. Did a little laundry, got the nails prettied up, errands complete and then a drive to look at some new living room furniture. We found 2 sets we really like just have to come to a final decision. DD took pictures of the 2 sets and will develop them tomorrow but I actually think I know how I'm voting! Applebees take out was dinner du jour and I am so lazy cooking meals on the weekends! Finished up all my bill paying and straightened out the checkbook and I think now it's time to go to bed!

Hope your day has been a good one!

Church, lunch with old chip-head friends of ours, and then pretty relaxing. Early evening the three of us made it to the pool - The Cus wasn't enthusiastic initially (you know men - if they don't say anything, it's in their body language!), but he was glad I drug him out because he had a good time. There were other dads there with their kids (mostly girls yesterday), and he and another dad were loading some of the girls on a kick board for "cruises", complete with big surf, storms, alligators and sharks. The girls were all squealing, and loved getting dumped off.

I did a 40+ minute workout to one of the Jennifer Kries' Pilates tapes I have, 2 of the 3 routines. Core training rather than cardio, but this morning I can feel a few twinges. Oh, to be *half* as flexible! The moves are unfamiliar to me, having never done yoga or dance, so it's a bit of a challenge trying to do them right and keep up - there's often not a cue to change positions, and when my head is down trying to follow the moves, I can't see the TV! I think previous exercising has already helped some of the core area (meaning I wasn't as off balance as I could've been, LOL!), and I was able to do many of them, so I must be doing something right. I'm a bit sore today from keeping tight positions, but nothing like I was after first doing weight work with The Firm last year and upon this year's restart.
