All right all of you sensational ladies...it's Sunday!
It's a bit cool here today also for the end of July. But I like having the windows open and being "comfortable" in the house. I made blueberry pancakes for breakfast this morning and I've spent a good portion of the morning with DD doing more tossing and organzing for the garage sale planned for next month. DH has actually agreed to toss out some stuff that we've holding onto for no particular reason. I think he's also gotten to the point where he realizes some stuff just has to go. We found a good home for his aunt's rocking chair. One of DD's friends who is also a teacher and teaches kindergarten or first grade was looking for a rocking chair for her classroom and he agreed that it would be nice to donate it to her classroom and would be a nice gesture in his aunt's memory rather than have the chair sitting in our basement with no particular use or purpose. It seems like an endless project around here but I'm starting to see some progress which is a very good thing.
DD and DH are off to the movies this morning to see Harry Potter. I opted to stay home and let them have a father daughter day as they are big fans of the books and movies. I'm actually thinking of doing a workout then hopping into the shower and then spend some time doing some housework and maybe catching up on some reading. We may take a ride in and see my inlaws this afternoon too.
That about sums up my day. Hope you are enjoying a sensational Sunday!

Happy Sunday! It's hot and sunny here, but I'm sure we'll have storms this afternoon. When those come we go down in the low 80's or even sometimes the high 70's briefly. In this kind of weather you can practically watch the grass grow.
I think I'll go out and do the edging and blowing I didn't get around to the other day and try to get the carpets in the car scrubbed.
I made a cake last night that probably has a million calories in it, but at least I didn't frost it. It was a French Vanilla cake mix, a large box of chocolate instant pudding thrown in, a can of lite cherry pie filling thrown in, along with the 1 1/4 c. water, and 1/3 macadamia nut oil. I baked it in a 13 X 9 pan. The added ingredients made me have to add about 15 baking time. Boy, is it good! Just what I need...
No real plans other that the yard work. Hope everyone has a great day.

Glad this board isn't called Beyond B**tchy or I'd have to for sure be the CL of it.
Sensational indeed!

Your run this morning sounds awesome! Great job! Glad to hear you're having such a good time, and I'm sure your MIL appreciates the help.
The improvised chocolate cake I made last night is gone as of about 10 minutes ago. I'd say it turned out pretty well according to the guys. ;-)

My weekend went well. The part-time job Friday night was a lot of running up and down stairs assisting people to their seats but I did get to enjoy the show. The birthday party on Saturday was fun. It rained a little but we were at a park with a nice covered pavilion, plus the weather was warm yesterday so the rain was nice and cooled things off a little.
Today I babysat my youngest DGS, he's 17 months old, and cute as can be. Typical boy, always looking for something else to get into. He figured out if he stretched hard enough he could push the water despenser on the refrigerator and get himself wet.
Just about when I thought everthing was going to wind down 3 of the older grandchildern and one of their friends came walking up to the house. My DD's best friend lives about 6 houses down the street from me. Fortunately they didn't stay long. At 45 years of age I'm not as energetic as I was @ 25. Plus AF came to visit Friday so I really was looking forward to some peace & quiet.
I roasted me & DH cornish hens for dinner and made an attempt on homemade banana pudding. I have never been able to make pudding that you cook to turn out. I guess we'll see how it works this time. I used canned nonfat skimmed milk to cut down on some of the calories. I usually just use the instant pudding mix.
Hope everyone had a wonderful day. Hope you got your nap.
PS: Nancy, I dind't know there was any other way to eat oatmeal until I moved to Texas. LOL
