Sunday Hello from Moyock, NC :-)

Hi, all! Yes...there is such a place as Moyock, NC. It is as remote as it sounds. To do any kind of shopping you have to go back into Va...Chesapeake Va to get to a Walmart, Target, etc. Had to go there yesterday so granddaughter could get her ears pierced for her birthday. We just got back from Chesapeake a little while ago today too. Granddaughter had her 7th birthday at Chuck E Cheese or Charles Edward Cheddar. Grandma was an easy hit for money for more tokens. Was my first time there and I think it might be my last!!!

Not doing much here except visiting, eating and not exercising. The weather has been quite rainy and there really isn't much doing around here even though they live on a golf course. Could always watch all the traffic go by on the main road...a lot of people vacationing on the Outer Banks.

DS's computer is a dinosaur and very slow so I haven't been able to read and post. I tried a couple of times, but couldn't get to the board and when I did, I couldn't post. I did try.

Still planning on driving home on Tuesday so I should be back on the board on Wednesday if house isn't a total disaster (DH and DD's fiance have been at the house with the two cats), and I have time between going to the podiatrist in the morning and teaching 3 classes in the evening. I certainly will be making up for lost time as soon as I get home as far as the exercise goes. I will have three classes on Thursday too.

Hope all is well and I am going to try to read some of the posts and catch up a little. Enjoy your Sunday...I sure am with being around the family.

It must be the weekend for granddaughter's birthdays. I sort of enjoy Chuck E Cheese, but I know exactly what your talking about on the extra tokens. Fortunately the birthday party I went to was at a park with barbecued pork chops, hambergers, hotdogs, chips, & cake.

Hey Grace, Katie yells at me because I call the place Chunky Cheese. Man I really dislike that place. LOL, thanks goodness my kids have outgrown that place. Sounds like Grandma is having fun and hey that is what its all about. Have a safe trip home, becareful driving. Do you take 13 back and go over the Deleware Memorial Bridge? Takes us about 8 hours when we drive to Virginia Beach. Catch you when you get home. Until then stay safe!
