Sundown Sunday Check-in

How did everybody's day wind up going? I ended up going to the beach, which I hadn't planned to do. I was out edging the yard, when Rob and his friend finally woke up and begged me to take them to the beach. He hasn't been surfing in ages. So, we hopped in the car and headed to the beach.
The water was so clear and blue-green, and it was about the warmest it's been all summer. Lots of people were swimming and there were quite a few surfers in spite of small surf. The weatherman has been telling us for days that today was supposed to have the worst storms, but it turned out to be gorgeous out. We were there from about 4 till almost 7.

Rhonda, the beach sounds beautiful. It's been like fall here today; upper 60s and off and on clouds and rain.Read about the cake you baked and how fast it went.Must have been as good as it sounded!

Patty, I'm so sorry to hear about your migraine. Must have been a doozie!! Hope it's totally gone by now. You are amazing to be able to work through those. I wouldn't worry about not getting a regular workout during that time. Plus, I have the feeling your work with the chickens is a bit of a workout in itself.
Wish you could have been here at the beach, since I know how much you like hot, sunny weather too. The salt air would probably have been good for your head, and it is soothing by the water. Weather up there has been pretty weird since spring, it seems.
Glad to see you post again. I was wondering if you were just busy or what and was going to put out an APB.
Hugs,
Rhonda
