I read an interesting article yesterday that said even though we've always been told to set realistic goals, there may be something to setting slightly unrealistic one.Dieters who set unrealistic goals were just as likely to shed pounds as those with more realistic goals. They also went on to lose slightly more weight over time.I guess that concept could apply to many areas.I know sometimes when I set a tougher goal for a workout and meet it I feel so good.I guess, like all things, balance is key.We should set the bar high enough to challenge ourselves but not too far out of range. With that in mind I think I need to raise the bar when it comes to cleaning my bathrooms :)

So what's up for everyone today? Can you guys believe we're in the last week of July?Is summer going well for everyone, sure hope so.Anyone starting to look forward to fall?

Hope everyone has a great day!!!

I've always lost my vision or had blind spots with my migraines. I would get the aura beforehand and that would let me know it was coming on -- losing peripheral vision, seeing spots, blind spots, etc. It would get progressively worse with the pain.

Ocular migraines are just the blind spots (and a strange burning in my nose) without the excruciating pain, nausea, difficulty speaking and comprehending what

Nancy, hope you feel better. The crops are iffy around here.We had wind damage to part of the corn field. And even though it hasn't been extremely hot or dry the corn looks like it's been both.I think it's going to be an early Fall here.Fall I can handle but a long drawn out winter I can't.

So sorry to hear about the migraine. After three days of dealing with one I know you must be worn out.Good luck with your goal this week. I know you can do it.

"I always dream big", I love that. When DS was making future plans I almost cautioned him not to take on too much. But a friend told me to let him go for it and not limit him.Such good advice.

Glad to hear you enjoyed your day yesterday.

There was a chip fest without me?????What kind of chips?????My scales gave me a wake up call today too. I hate when they do that.Definitely pace yourself when it comes to housework.Glad you're back, missed you.

Do you have trouble finding fitness pants that aren't too long?I do.I saw that Nordstroms had a great sale on some of their workout clothes. This summer I've picked up racerback tops at Walmart(4 bucks!!!) and I live in them.Sometimes I think I work out just to wear the cute clothes :)

Enjoy the chick flick, sounds like fun!
