Well I think I'll give myself the Susie Homemaker award for the day-although housecleaning is still definitely not in my top 10 favorite things to do on vacation! I scrubbed, I cleaned, I vacummed, even cleaned a bathroom, removed unidentifiable meat objects from the freezer (wait till DH tries to pick up the trash cans-guess I should have done this before the garbarge men arrived!)and Science 101 projects from the refrigerator. Even got a new kitchen garbarge can to replace ours that says Otto chewed on this one! I even cooked the family a meal this evening. Must say DH grew some corn-you farm girls would certainly get a kick out of his "corn field" on our 50 x 100 plot that our house sits on-but it was so sweet and really tasty! No work out per se but all the cleaning must have counted for something and did get Otto for his walk and then back out for me to return a very overdue library book. I guess you could say the house was treated very well!

Had a blast @ Six Flags. The traffic and weather was good, a little humid but not to bad. The lines weren't that long and we road everthing we wanted to. I ate a cheese burger but it was more lettuce, onions, pickles & bread than burger. I also had a few french fries but not to many, didn't want to eat to much and get sick on a ride. I must have walked atleast 4 if not 5 hours, we were there a total of six hours.

I'm wore out and think I'm going to go to bed soon. I'm actually hungry but just don't feel like eating anything this late at night.

Hope everyone else had a happy day!!!! :-)

Thursday and I got along great! It was a smart day for me - smarter eating, smarter workout. Lots of salads and veggies, good quantity of protein (non-meat, very unusual) and carbs from the smart side of the list, and a sweaty workout (cardio and all-over weights, but concentrated on UB and abs) that made me feel that I renewed my commitment to getting fit. That's what I wanted to accomplish and I did it.
