I did good all day and then went to my dd soccer party. The parents played soccer against the kids for 2 hours. I played the whole 2 hours. Then we ate. I was starving. I had 2 pieces of pizza, a large handful of veggies, a large handful of chips, a piece of cookie cake and diet pop. I'm mad at myself. I should of had half of what I ate. Tommorrow is another day. I think that you are too hard on yourself.

Do you usually exercise with kids for 2 hours straight? I would think that was quite a workout for you. Two pieces of pizza - not bad. I used to try to match DH slice for slice, and next thing we knew the pizza was gone. A large handful of veggies - great. A large handful of chips - still doesn't sound bad; unless you have enormous hands, I'll bet it wasn't more than a small lunch-sized bag. A piece of cookie cake - how big a piece? Sounds like you had a big crowd to share it with, so maybe your portion wasn't what you've made it to be. Maybe all your choices weren't the best, but your eating day still doesn't sound horrendous.

Don't you love tomorrows? They're perfect opportunities to do things over and do them better. Hang in there!

Sounds to me like you played for two hours then had dinner.

Anyone who can stop at a handful of chips is pretty awesome in my book!

After playing soccer with kids for 2 hours I think you deserve to indulge a little. The veggies was a GREAT choice, I have to avoid chips because I want to eat the whole bag once I start, 2 slices of pizza is pretty good especially if it was not a meat lovers like my DH usually has, and a piece of cookie cake you worked for it. Don't be so hard on yourself and don't consider it a slip-up, instead consider it a reward for the 2 hours of running back and forth on a soccer field and having the patients to play with young kids all that time plus the time spent at the pizza place. I love kids and enjoy spending time with them but it still can get stressful sometimes.
