It's the end of the vacation week and I can truly say-I'm not sure where this week went and can hardly believe the month of July is ending! The summer just zooms by so fast!
Grocery shopping is definitely on the agenda for today-there's not a drop of milk left. DS was looking for a salad with dinner last night-except there was absolutely, positively nothing to make one in the house! Hair cut and color is also on the agenda for this afternoon. The couch search is still on, I thought we had made up our minds until DH found another store with a sale so we may take a ride over there. That was supposed to happen yesterday but I got ditched!! I really need to get a workout in this morning but it's one of those mornings where the excuses are many and not one of them is a valid excuse!
Guess I better change into some appropriate attire-never got out of my pj's yesterday until I felt the urge for a Dunkin Donuts coffee yesterday afternoon and unfortunately there was no one at home to fetch it for me.
I love the positive tone, Nancy. I agree with you totally about moods, like yawning, being contagious. But an old friend of mine used to say "You can't make people happy against their will", and if someone is determined to be a grouch (myself included), you sometimes just gotta let it be until it passes. I'm not feeling grouchy today (never on a Friday), but my friend is feeling very down (and probably exhausted from a string of multiple-meeting days) - a business trip she was on this week did not go swimmingly, so I'm going out at lunchtime with her to lend an ear and a shoulder as we walk or eat.
My day at work looks light, so I've a built-in reason to be cheerful. DH worked out this morning, I have the whole workout area to myself when we get home, and I'll put in another good one (the 3rd good one out of 4 this week so far). We have a nice dinner planned for this evening, at home, so we'll be eating healthily. More reasons to be cheerful!
Sounds like this is going to be a pretty good day! Hope it's the same for all of you!
Actually Dh has to do some work in CL tomorrow so I'm taking some time off and getting away a few hours. Won't work til late afternoon or evening. He's been gone alot and will be gone even more next few weeks so I'm taking breaks when I can.
It is an absolutely beautiful morning here so I'm getting out to work some in the yard.Later I'm meeting a friend for dinner.Should be a good day.
I'm heading off to work in about 15 minutes.

I'm with Susan, this week Friday means that we're nearing the end of our stay with MIL and the end of vacation.
