I understand Rhonda but I have to say that your views are very onesided and you tend to BASH anyone, such as myself who doesn't agree with you. I guess I better stick to my rules of never talking politics or religion. Those are two very touchy subjects and can cause many hard feelings. I find it hard NOT to take it personnally because when I do voice my opinion I get totally slammed by all of you here! Sorry I said anything. I'm afraid I was right the first time I left this board. I won't be back again.

Sincerely, lisa

My views are what they are because I have examined BOTH sides in depth and have formed those strong opinions. They may seem one-sided to you because you don't agree, but anyone who knows me well knows that I examine both sides carefully before I form an opinion. Unfortunately, most people see a couple of things and believe it without researching further. It's too time consuming or whatever.

To my knowledge, no one has bashed you personally. We may express that we don't agree with your political ideas, but there's a big difference between that and bashing you personally. Knowing how sensitive people can be is why I posted the beginning of this thread, so things would not mistakenly be taken personally. I have no problem at all with people expressing different views, as Lori know ;-), and think it's healthy to have discourse from both sides. I don't take it personally if someone disagrees with me unless they address it to me and at me

Just because a person doesn't agree with you it doesn't mean they are bashing you.

I've very concerned to read that you feel you have been slammed by all of us here. If, at any time, I have posted something like that to you or anyone else I truly apologize.Take care and all the best.

Happy to see your post Lori! You and I have different political opinions, but I think we have some very interesting posts expressing them, and I enjoy seeing them. I can't imagine a board anywhere where everyone agrees with me (or anyone else) all the time, and if there were one, it would get pretty boring relatively fast.

Being able to express different opinions without being offended has, in my opinion, always been one of the very best things about this board and sets it head and shoulders

Just adding my 2 cents worth. I stay away from such conversations, like Lisa said, politics and religion. I hate to see one of our members leave and wish you would reconsider Lisa. Everyone is completely entitled to their own opinions and one should really not feel threatened to post what and how they feel. I believe each lady here is a true gem and wonderful person that adds to this board and I for one do not wish anyone to leave.
