to start a new week and get on the road to being healthy and fit. I don't have much time to make the most of this month with the upcoming surgery, but I am going to do it! I am going to concentrate on the eating since exercise is easier for me to keep up with the AC in the gyms.

I had a great surprise on Saturday. (I thought I posted this already Saturday, but it seems to not be here) My brother who

So nice of your brother to come and visit. I can not imaging seeing my sister for a long while. I am sure you had tons to catch up and and you enjoyed the visit. Sometimes those last minute thoughts of lets get together are the best.

What is up with the cranberry juice? Something new out there? We so need to get together, maybe coffee at Starbucks one night? Since working 4 days and the kids being off. But I could slip out one night for an hour or two. What do you think about that? Let me know!

Sounds great Deb. Let me know when since your schedule is a lot busier than mine. We could do dinner... a nice salad somewhere too. We could meet after the families are fed too. This Thursday is my only bad night so far.

Grace, are you doing the Fat Flush detox plan? I used to buy the pure cranberry juice when I was doing that. It is expensive, and I could find it only at health food stores. I liked it with the ground flaxseeds in it. The nutty flavor was good.

No, I am not doing the Fat Flush, but I kept reading how good the pure cranberry juice is, so I thought I would give it a try. I have to try the ground flax seen in it. Didn't think of it. And yes, it is very expensive! I am hiding it in back of the fridge. I am also only having 3 to 4 oz a day, but something is happening.

Ok...there really isn't any real secret...LOL! I have read in First Magazine and it is from the Fat Flush Diet author that cranberry juice can help flush out your system. If you feel bloated or are retaining water, it is supposed to help (get rid of cellulite which to me is just fat and if it will help get rid of it, it can't hurt). The idea is to buy the unsweetened (pure) cranberry juice which I found at a health food store for $6 a bottle. You mix 1 oz of juice with 8 oz of water and you are to have 8 glasses a day. WEll...I only get in 3...I still have to have my tea (green which is also supposed to be good for weight loss) and I am floating now. It is also bitter so think of it as putting lemon in your water.

OK well that sounds do-able. Worth a try. Now the lemon comment, when I was going to the WW meetings in Sayville, one of the leaders there said to have a hot cup of water with half a lemon squeezed into it first thing in the morning. She said it flushes out the anti somethings in your body, then go on to have your tea or coffee. I did it for a few weeks, should probley start again. Maybe a run to the store after work for a few things in order. Thanks for sharing the info.
