~~What Can Be Wednesday~~

I read a line yesterday that reallly stayed with me.It said "no matter what you've done with what has been, you now have what can be".I really like that thought. And when you let your mind go and think about what can be without limiting yourself it's an incredible thought. It makes me think of Donna's statement of "reaching for the stars".

By the way , it is Wednesday right?I'm having a hard time keeping up with the days and dates. What is that a sign of???I know it can't possibly be age related!!!

So what's up for today?Any new workout plans? Is work going ok for everyone?Deb, how is Katie doing?Cussette, is AL getting excited about school?Rhonda, Rob heads back soon doesn't he?Donna, hope your DH had a very special birthday.

Have a wonderful wednesday!!!

OMG there are 41 replies, there is no way I will ever be able to read what you ladies had in store for this day. Today was a work day for me, and I left a list for the kids of "honey dew" chores. They were not happy but they did do what was asked. Made for a much happier mom. Yesterday was not a good day at work or home so this was a nice change. We had some happy news today. We have been in business for ourselves now for 3 years and 3 years ago when Bill split from his partner he swore we were going to own the building and property where our business is located. He did not want to rent for the next 15 years and have nothing to show. Well we went to closing today and we now own the building, property and the business. It was a huge step for us business wise, family wise and of coarse financially wise. I was chewing my acrylic nails this morning. The attorney I work for did the closing for us since Steve was no longer here. He knew I was nervous and he was teasing me that everything would be fine, and he was right. We are very happy and tonight we are taking the kids to dinner at the local diner to celebrate. Big day here and happy news!

Katie is doing great. Her back is looking wonderful, some slight scaring along the top scratch. Her knee looks just like a regular boo-boo and her tummy is still healing and that one is just going to take a while.

CONGRATULATIONS on the purchase of the bldg. and land!! With Tim having his own business, I can really empathize, and that is a huge accomplishment.

Hey Margie-girl. Russell's back is doing great! He and Shawn have started jogging together. He's been riding his trail bike (but on conservative pavement). He would love to get back into weight lifting, but he knows better...so far!

I haven't been posting much this summer, either. The kids are driving me batty! Soon, school will start and then I will miss them. That's always the way!

Good to chat with you.

Sassy

Aha, that's more like it. I tend to agree about the extra break in winter and the kids getting a little bored in the summer. They just like not having to get up and not having homework, basically the same as we did.

I have 2 nice big bell peppers on a plant out front. That's about the extent of my harvest, so far. Hope the weather works out for you to get yours done.

Let me know if it works! If so, I want the name of the color. I'd even be willing to go dark again for that!!

Great to hear that Russell's back is doing well, and he's able to be more active again. I'm sure the whole family is enjoying that.
