So how has your day been?Things go well?Hope so.

Ok, picture this; 3 women all pmsing, alittle ticked at men or kids or both with sissors and dye.Fortunately only the professional handled the hair stuff. And happily it turned out really well.I went back to a deep brunette color with just a few highlights. Then we trimmed an inch or more off the length.Really happy with it.DH says he can't see much a difference(MEN!!!!!) but DS noticed it as soon as he walked it and said he liked it.Mom and Dad both noticed and said they like it.So I'm happy with my hair but in the meantime a zit the size of Texas has appeared on my nose!!!

Had a fantastic run this morning. Did 5 miles and it was one of those that just flowed.Found my pace and felt great.I also signed up(at a cost) at Road Runners where I can get some perks with my orders. One being I can wear the shoes but still return them if I don't like how they feel. Not a bad deal as expensive as workout shoes can be.

I need to do weights and work more tonight. I know the work will get done, not so sure about the weights.Phyllis, I got that magazine you mentioned.Looks like a good issue.

Yikes. I was cringing until I saw that only the professional had control over the dangerous items! No mention of the thighs, however...

Had a good workout this morning. Since my heart has been doing that flip-flop thingy again (I have a doc appointment August 12), I took it "easy" on the treadmill, but not exactly a walk in the park. Worked up a good sweat, good cardio workout, but kept an eye out for the heart issue. I think it's stress, lack of H2O, humidity (my usual excuses). After that I cranked on the back workout and abs. Felt good afterwards. Still feel good.

I've been a chocoholic all week, however, which is odd since Flo just left. I think DH is taking me to Outback for dinner. Or at least that's where I TOLD him he's taking me ;)

Anxious to see the hair, Patty-cakes. Most men don't notice those things, as I'm sure we can all attest to. My oldest DS is the one most likely to comment.

Sassy

PMS, 3 woman, conversations of men and children, dye and at least one sharp implement sounds like it could have been the beginnings of a news headline! Glad that there was a professional there to thwart the potential threat!

I am sitting in my workout clothes, I've changed my mind at least 5x about what I feel like doing...and the honest answer is absolutely, positively nothing! The bad thing about that option is that I have a severe case of the munchies where anything edible will do and I know a workout would quash that. In fact the jar of peanut butter and jelly that DS was using to make a sandwich could have easily been consumed without the use of bread. Otto and I made it as far as around the block before he came back huffing and puffing-of course he did have enough energy to snag 1/2 of DS' sandwich! Believe it or not that totally non motivating walk with the dog put enough sweat on me to think that maybe I should become a contortionist as I was trying to put on a sports bra that at one point wouldn't go on or come off. All I could think of was Patty during that incident. So if I've put that much effort into getting ready to workout I'm trying to figure out if that was enough of a workout or whether I should actually engage myself in some sort of physical activity besides turning on the bedroom ac and calling it a day.

I guess you can guess that it's a bit sticky or my new favorite word that I've borrowed from Donna-we're suffering from the muggies and I guess so am I. I'm going back now to contemplating-I'll let you know how it turns out on What was it Wednesday!

Gee, Patty, and all we had was a hostage situation here today. Thank goodness you had a professional there to keep things under control -- step away from the scisssors!! Sounds like the makings of a real thriller.

LOL...I'm glad I'm not the only one having sports bra problems this time of year.
