Hi, Lori! LOL with finding the Easter chocolate. Small things can make us happy sometimes. I found chocolate yesterday too. I forgot I bought some to make communion treats for granddaughters communion and found it yesterday. Very dangerous!!

Have a nice evening and hope you opt for movie night. Enjoy

What a sweet post with your "thankful" about the board. Thanks! Weather is strange but I did decide to turn off AC and open the windows for some fresh air.

Glad to hear you enjoy work. I didn't realize it with what was going on in the office. But, good bosses do help!!

Sorry about AF becoming a monthly visitor again. Hey, at least it shows you have estrogen yet!

Have a good one

How special of DS to do that! (What did he want? Just kidding!) It was really sweet and sure can make your day, week, hey, even the month.

Enjoy the run and the cooler weather.

Hello, Donna...good luck with clearing your desk! I bet you feel a whole lot better when it is done. Hey, every workout counts and moderate ones are very good inbetween. It sure beats doing nothing.

Have a good day and enjoy the sun if it peeks out completely.

Lots of thunder this afternoon and the skies look like more rain.

I went to a brief Health & Exercise seminar at work today. It was actually given by a dentist. He was a good speaker even though he seemed young. He has strong family values and high religious morales. He was very big on exercise, eating healthy, & drinking lots of water. He also said green tea was good for you. He said that Splenda was the best thing to use as a sweetner, Sweet N Low & Equal both cause serious medical problems in lab rats (I use both of them). He also said that replacing a soda with decaf tea (green, herbal, or black) or water will drastically increase health benefits. One thing I found interesting was by walking one mile a day a person can loose 10 pounds in a year's time and 2 miles a day can reduce your risk of death from all disease by 50% (WOW). He also said that deep breathing exercises is a good way to relieve stress, which causes a chemical to be produce that causes weight gain. Another suggestion, which I have heard before, is drinking a glass of water before you eat will assist in curbing the appetite and filling the stomach so you don't eat as much. I have done this and can say it does work.

Well enough of that, I hope that everyone had a Terrific Thursday and a Fabulous Friday.

Alice - The Betty Boop

PS: I have recently (about 2 weeksa ago) replaced sodas with tea (yesterday I switched to green tea) & water. Since I started doing this I have dropped a pound or two. I also don't get gas like I do when I drink diet Dr. Pepper all the time. (blushing to admit that) I'm thankful for all sorts of things, family, job,all of you, co-workers that I can also call friends, and being able to loose weight (slowly) and keep it off.

Good sound info...sounds like an interesting seminar. I am going to say here that I already do some of this. I wish it helped me lose weight. However, I have been drinking green tea for years and never drank soda. Can't blame my gas on that...sigh...

I am a little skeptical about the splenda, but I have a thing about all artificial sweeteners. I have tried Stevia, but I don't like the aftertaste with even a little tiny bit extra. It is 300 times sweeter than sugar and is from the health food store. I only use it in my oatmeal.

Keep sharing any other good stuff you hear. Good job on losing 2 lbs.
