Glad to hear Rob's day went well.And yes he's right, having lots of friends in class is the important thing.LOL I remember Ryan coming home from school starved.

Rhonda, glad Rob had a great day as well. Friends are a big part of being a teenager. High school age kid is hard on both the parent and child. Its nice to know you have such a great relationship with him. These older years are just as important to be there and home for them as when they were only 5 or 6. Hope he has a great year. Does he get involved with any extra activities, such as sports, newspaper, robotics, etc?

I told Rob about the well wishes from members of the board, and he smiled and said to tell you all thank-you (blush).


Rob hasn't gotten involved in any school sports or clubs. I tried to get him to last year, but other than being in the jazz band the first semester, which bored him to death, he wouldn't. The sports he likes aren't ones at school -- surfing and skateboarding. They did have what was supposed to be a Christian surfers club, but it never met. I told him and his friends to let me know who the
