Geez, this getting up again at 5:30 is for the birds (Right, Patty?). Yesterday, first day of school, Rob was already up by the time I was at his room. This morning he had turned off his 2 alarms and was back asleep. I can see that things will not be much different this year from last. I knew he was going to be tired this morning when some girl called here at 10 last night, and I had wanted him working on going to sleep by then.

What will everyone be doing today? I will have to let you know when I am more coherent. ;-)

Have a wonderful day!

I forgot about you being the earliest of the early birds! I don't know how you do it and have so much energy too. Rob just left about 6:15. At least they get out at 2:15. He came home and napped after he pigged out yesterday.

Happy that the day has arrived for Johnny to come home. Careful there. We don't want any hospitalizations. LOL!

Let us know how you like your new tape.

Rhonda, getting back in the school routine is tough after the relaxed summer schedule.A friend of mine said she was going to start on her kid a week or two before school started. We never could manage to do that.

Not sure what's up for today.Working in CL for sure.Hopefully a run and those darn weights that I just can't seem to get back to.Last day of sunshine before some rain settles into the area for awhile so I hope to get out and enjoy it.

Have a great day everyone!

Good Morning,

Yep, it's Tuesday alright! Getting back into a school routine after summer can sure be a jolt. We always tried to get everybody into bed and into the new routine ahead of time too-didn't always go to well!

Phyllis-Happy reunion to you and Johnny!

Nothing much going on in this neck of the woods-the sun is shining here and I think the summer time weather is returning. I ended up going for a 2 mile walk last night and not sure what's on the workout agenda for the day. I have a doctor's appt right after work for a follow up on my blood pressure and I'm sure there's a blood test involving a large needle as well. I've been maintaining pretty well so here's hoping it's stayed that way.

Hope you all enjoy a terrific Tuesday in your neck of the woods!

We always say we're going to get the kids back on schedule a week of two before school starts, too...we usually manage to get them in bed early the weekend before school starts! I can relate to Rob, Rhonda...I STILL hate getting up early! Shawn has really slept in this summer but come the first morning of school and every day after, he'll be up and about. He loves school and can't wait to get there.

We are so much alike Patty. Here is my secret for getting both parts of my workout in...I do the one I like the best, LAST. I love working out with weights so I purposely do cardio first. I like cardio, but I love weights. Try doing weights first and your runs afterward. I've read in a few places and had the personal trainer at our rec center tell me that we should do weights first and then cardio. It just doesn't work for me.

The summer is zooming by. Just found out the boss is going to be gone the week I'm on vacation and the following week, too. Woo-hoo! Thought we'd both be getting back at the same time, which means I never really had a vacation :)

Callin for yucky weather here this afternoon. Not getting a workout in this morning as I need to be up at the church to meet the plumber at 8:00. Still have my jammies on so I guess I better get moving.

Hey Nancy. I've missed you, too.

Still busy...and this is our "down time" lol. Swim team is over and soccer and baseball haven't yet begun. So now we're playing catch up with all of the other things! Living on a farm...I know that you understand what that is about.

Family is doing great. DH has been very wise about his back surgery recovery. He and oldest DH have just begun a workout program that includes jogging, sprints (oldest DS only) and weights. The other two darlings are great. Sarah and I are pulling her room apart in preparation for ripping up her carpet, painting, closet organizers, new accessories. I'm making her go thru all of her stuff. Incentive for getting a "new" room, you know! The little guy is a wild man. He's so funny...he sat down with me last night and just talked about anything and everything. He's pretty wise for an 8 year old.

Keeping busy at work. Getting ready for vacation at the end of the month. Off to the Outer Banks.

I try to pop onto the board now and then.
