What day is it? Oh, yeah, Tuesday...

Geez, this getting up again at 5:30 is for the birds (Right, Patty?). Yesterday, first day of school, Rob was already up by the time I was at his room. This morning he had turned off his 2 alarms and was back asleep. I can see that things will not be much different this year from last. I knew he was going to be tired this morning when some girl called here at 10 last night, and I had wanted him working on going to sleep by then.

What will everyone be doing today? I will have to let you know when I am more coherent. ;-)

Have a wonderful day!

Good morning!

Girls calling Rob at home at 10 pm already? Sounds like his first day back was a roaring teen-age boy's success . Somehow I don't see Rob letting that continue, once he gets on a roll with school work and finds some activities that interest him. Nice to hear he's got good friends around him.

Tuesday it is, and it broke with the sun shining and the breezes blowing. I hope it continues. One of my friends and I are supposed to get together to celebrate her birthday this evening, and rain is on the forecast. We had planned dinner at an outdoor restaurant, but we might have to move indoors if the weather deteriorates through the day.

Not much else planned, except workworkwork. If my plans fall through, there will be a cardio/UB/abs workout.

Gotta go and start moving paper. Have a good one!

5:00 is even worse - I just drag through conferences - I feel like the guy from the Dunkin Donuts commercial, "Time to Make the Donuts..."

I hope Rob gets himself up a little better - just makes for a nicer morning. I used to restrict phone calls after 9:00 p.m. on school nights - and that was until Ryan graduated. It made for easier mornings, knowing the phone wouldn't ring for him late in the evening.

Today is day one of a four day conference - 33 people - so I am dragging and feel like I have put in a full day's work already. Just got to my desk and got going on "my" work about 20 minutes ago, and it is time to go re-organize the break room, GACKKKK Just got back to my desk and realize I had started this almost an hour ago, and got sidetracked with work.

Good Tuesday all.

First off, got the links fixed for Allison's first day pictures - http://messageboards.ivillage.com/n/mb/message.asp?webtag=iv-fbfitforties&msg=13723.2 . Mom is doing better today. Aunt Flo's made her appearance (explaining the ravenous hunger last night as well as magnifying the extra emotional bumps), but a good night's sleep has helped. We started a "morning routine" sometime in mid-July, and that has certainly helped the new school day routine.

Phyllis - glad to hear Johnny's coming home today. Enjoy ;^).

Sassy - good to "see" you again.

Today: I've paid bills, already cleaned the kitchen from the morning carnage, did a devotional. I've got to do a few things online (check prices, sign up for something, get my workout in on the President's Challenge), handle some clutter, and then look for another pair of comfy shoes for Allison. A little more organization work today. I'll workout shortly here, too, Body Sculpt today.

Y'all have a good one!

Rob isn't supposed to get phone calls after 9. During the summer we got kind of lenient about it since teenagers don't come alive until about 10, it seems. He let me know about this one ahead of time, and I let him know I didn't like it. He was supposed to be in bed. He paid the price this morning by being overly tired.

Girls have been calling him for years. Things aren't like they were when I was growing up. Gee, I sound like my parents! The boys basically sit back and wait for the girls to call them, and they don't have to wait long, if at all.

I have to go along with that - my 21 year old gets calls from "chicks" all hours of the night - I had to ask him to put his phone on vibrate so it won't wake me.
