Thank you everyone for your love & support. I am still not smoking. I have noticed my hair smells better. (LOL) My voice seems to be improving a little. Before I quit smoking I managed to drop 5 pounds below a plateau weight I seemed to be stuck at. I decided to keep it off so I'm watching what I eat more carefully. I still have 30 pounds to go before I reach an ideal weight for my age & height but will be happy to drop atleast 15 pounds. I got an Alaskan Sampler & some Mahi Mahi fish from the Schwans guy. I grilled the Mahi Mahi and it was pretty good. DH & I are not much seafood eaters but I know it is good for us. Anybody have any suggestions on recipes? DH is trying to loose weight also. I also have been doing pretty good at not drinking sodas all the time. I started drinking Arizona's RX Stress tea (a mixture of green & black teas with some vitamin B's added). It's pretty good.

I need to start back riding my bicycle again. When AF visits I slack off some and she should leave town in a day or two so it's time to get busy. I wish I could run like some of you do. I have always had problems breathing when ever I try to run. I do enjoy bicycle riding though and going for walks. DH rides with me and we have about a 6 mi route (mostly country roads with hills) that we travel. Tonight when it starts to cool off a little here I'm going to help mow the lawn and might wash & wax my car. If I don't do the car I plan on going for a bicycle ride tonight & washing car tomorrow.

Patty great post, it actually brought tears to my eyes. Nancy, I will keep you & your DS in my prayers. I know what it's like when your children grow up and move halfway across the country, fortunately mine have all returned back here in Texas. Deb I will also say a prayer that the mix-up with the dresses gets fixed in time. They should give you some type of a refund/discount for the mistake since it was their fault. Donna, once I sent a bill off and forgot to include the check. When the next month bill came in with a past due amount on it, I pulled out my receipt copy and there was the check all filled out and everything just waiting to be mailed. (LOL) AC, goodluck with the Turkey Run, you DH was probably trying to help in his own way, men sometimes do the sweetest things in the strangest ways. Jorene, how's things going with Chad? Hope things are well. Lady Irish how's things going your way? Still looking forward to seeing a picture of you in that dancing dress.

If I missed anyone I apologize. Wishing all is well in your neck of the woods. May God bless & protect each one of you.

Best of luck with your efforts to quit smoking. From what I've heard, it's one of the most difficult things to do, but I know a number of people who've been successful. Keep up the good work!
