Strawberry Twizzlers sounds good, they're low fat (I over-look the carbs). I had a fairly good day. DH surpriesed me, while I was mowing the back yard he was washing my car. While I started talking to a neighbor and he waxed it too. That was so sweet of him I had to feed him a cheeseburger (grilled) and chips. I know it isn't that healthy but we both probably sweated out any extra calories. Unfortunately I didn't get to go on my bicycle ride. Tomorrow is another day.

Patty, I think I ate your share of fruit today. Definitely o-d'd on it. But it was soooooo tasty. But I like your idea about Strawberry Twizzlers. You know how crunchy dog biscuits are supposed to be good for a dog's teeth? I'm going to start thinking of crunchy cookies as being good for my teeth. How about 4 caramel delites courtesy of this past season's Girl Scout cookie sale? Yup, I unearthed a fresh box from the back of the freezer. Those three "people biscuits" sure were yummy. And if I can see a box of cookies that far back in the freezer, that must mean it's time to get some real food in there.

Other than the cookie tasting and the orchard o-d, I ate well today. We had the salmon that I forgot to defrost after all (that's how I found the cookies) for dinner. And I got in 3+ miles on the treadmill and did 200 ab crunches that I really felt like I haven't in a long while; a simple position change on the weight bench did the trick.

Everyone's heard of Ming Tsai, from the Food Network, right? For Christmas, my BIL gave us a gift certificate to his restaurant west of Boston in DH's hometown. We're going for dinner Wednesday night - you can't get near the place on weekends unless your reserve weeks in advance, so we're just going to enjoy a mid-week special treat. I'm really looking forward to it. He's a whiz with seafood, so I'm going to stick with our finned friends for dinner.

Hope you all have a great sleep!

Did my Body Sculpt in the AM hours yesterday (Tuesday), and shortly after lunch mowed the lawn. Today (Wednesday) I can feel the muscles that I worked yesterday! That's what I get for not doing weight work regularly for over 2 weeks.

Good eating here as well, no overdoing it. I like the idea of Twizzlers for fruit. Can we make that a food group? One thing that I've really been enjoying are fresh peaches & blueberries with a dollop of lite whipped cream on top. That was my mid-morning snack yesterday and will probably be today too.
