~~Happy Hump Day~~

Good morning everyone! We're about halfway thru the week and alittle more than halfway thru the month. Can you believe it?I bet some of you guys have already started on your Christmas shopping.

I loved Sassy's post yesterday where she said she had really been working out and loving it.But yesterday she had to let the workout go to get other things done.I think that is so important with exercise, to reach the right balance. Some days I have to make myself exercise and some days I have to push myself alittle further than I might want to go.And some days I have to realize that I need a day off or that I just simply don't have the time that day to get it done without feeling overwhelmed.Having said that though,I think my workouts are so good for me and I usually make sure my days have the time to include them.I've found that as I get older( so to speak) I've learned to put myself up higher on the list of important things to take care of.I think for all women finding what works for you and how to fit it into your life is so important.

Donna, hope you enjoy the resturant tonight.Looking forward to hearing about it.Nancy, are you enjoying the new workout you're doing?Hope so.And to each of you, every day I come to the board and read something that touches me, teaches me or stays with me in some way.I talk about you all so often that my family thinks I have imaginary friends!!!Just want to say thanks and tell you all how much you add to my life.

Have a wonderful day!

Miss P

I never heard of the parotid gland. Do they have any idea what makes it act up? Sure hope it's better soon, but enjoy the candy while you can.

Phelps really is something. So is "The Torpedo" from Australia. I thought he was going to win the relay for the Australians last night, but the U.S. hung on.

Sounds as though you have a really full day ahead. Glad to hear the harvesting is going well and hope you can get it wrapped up soon. I think it's very admirable that you can drive a semi and all those things. As you said, most women can't. I'm sure those men have to admire you too and giving you a hard time is their way of showing affection.

I know you have to be relieved that your son is so close to his destination (if not there by now). Sounds like the topper is the way to go for hauling.

Good luck with your driving!

It's the gland right in front of your ear that wraps down around your jaw.

Nancy, I am so in awe that you drive a semi.Your DH is so lucky to have you but I'm sure he knows that.

I'm so happy to hear you're enjoying your workouts.I'm so excited about you adding running to your workout.I've been thinking about you.A site you might want to check out is reebokrunner.com. You have to hunt around on it a bit but it has some good stuff.Has a running program for beginners.I used to have alot of knee problems but ironically since I've started running regularly that has gotten better. Also I think some of the lower body exercises I do helps too.

Hope your day went well.

"what I should be doing and making more of an effort to do it" LOL I was just thinking about you today and thinking how much I admire how many things you take on.

I'm really trying to figure out a way to make it to Asheville. This group has become a part of my life and I want so much to be there. The other day I saw something on Asheville and it made me realize just how much I want to go.
