Had a great day. No workout. Got up early, did my devotion time, showered and got to the office early. Worked 6 hours and dashed home for packing. Grabbed the girl and we went and got pampered for an hour...nails and toes, baby. A quick stop at Starbucks (for dinner, lol) and it's back to the packing. Heading to the Outer Banks tomorrow a.m. Hope we have great weather. Actually, I don't care what the weather is like...we're getting away! Hope to drag DH out to see the Borne Supremacy. Borne Identity is one of my fave movies. Also picked up a couple new DVDs...the Man from Snowy River (an old time favorite) and The Thomas Crowne Affair with Pierce Brosnan (yummy).
I know what you mean about saving things and then having piles of stuff to go through. I have papers and magazines that multiply faster than I seem to be able to sort them. I give my magazines I'm finished with to different places, so they're recycled.
Never made it to the workout. Got out of work late. Had to go the the grocery store to fill up the freezer (and re-bury those dumb cookies). Bought more stuff at the store than I intended to b/c of all the sales, so I had much more to put away. Too da$& hot to do anything after that. Grabbed leftovers for a quick dinner. Retired to the living room and next thing I knew it was 1 am.
Sassy - have a wonderful vacation with your family!
We had the water aerobics class in the morning - about 10 women there, so we had lots of fun. The instructor (my neighbor) just got certified at the end of July, and we're her first class, certified guinea pigs! Having a regular workout, the only spot I really "felt" it was my shoulders afterwards, but what I *did* notice was that the tightness from resuming Body Sculpt abated. I think this will be a good offset to my other workouts. We'll be doing this Tues/Thurs through Sept 7th for this session. Then I'll have to decide if I'll continue.
Other than that, I caught up with a friend who's DD also started K, and worked on getting my online choices for wallpaper organized so that I can go check out a few books from local decorating centers. Seeing choices in front of you beats looking at them online, though narrowing it down online helps tremendously.
Had pork chops with apple sauce and stuffing, corn/lima beans and honey mustard potato wedges for dinner.
