Good morning everyone! So what would it take to make today a phenomenal day for you?A big thing, alittle thing? How much different would your answer have been at 16 or 26 or 36?Isn't it interesting how what's important to us and what brings us happiness changes over the years? How many of us at 30 would have thought we would have been kicking such butt with our workouts? How many of us at 16 would have thought a message board would have added so much to our lives?I think one wonderful thing that comes with age is realizing what really matters and finding joy in the simplest things.Another thing is realizing that we hold the power to bring ourselves true happiness. We can decide to be happy or not. To go after what we want to to let it slip by.I think at our age we truly know how much power we have to make our lives, our days and each moment what we want them to be.
What's up for today?Working out?Anything new? Big weekend plans?15 min projects?
Have a Phenomenal Day!!!!

I guess in some ways I'll never change. At 16 I wanted to live at the beach, and I still do. I wanted to go to dances a lot and still do -- the difference is back then I got to go. At 30, I wanted to be at the beach, but was very concerned with proving myself in my career and paying my dues. Don't worry about that any more.
I agree with Linda about a lottery win making my day. Since I don't buy tickets, it's not likely to happen. I am very pleased that I persuaded several people that Bill McCollum is the best candidate for the U. S. Senate from FL, and along with putting out some signs along busy roads, I got the Fraternal Order of Police (who're endorsing him) and the motorcycle shop next to headquarters to let me put up signs for him there. I got a lot of data entry done too.
It was/is 94 here today, humid, and we came through a very heavy rainstorm on the way home. Sky was really black. Got withing a mile or so of my house and it hadn't rained. That's FL for you.
I should run up to the grocery store, but I'm feeling like just taking it easy a while. Hannity and Colmes should be good tonight. The first half hour was excellent last night.

Hope your head is feeling better by now.
Have you ever had poached salmon? I never would eat salmon until I had it poached with cucumber dill sauce. Now, I like it grilled too. Can't tolerate salmon cakes though.
Enjoy the Olympics tonight!

They are a great way to start the day, aren't they?

Ditto on the marriage thing. Now, I'm lucky to get to dance with Rob or bridesmaids at rare weddings or dance around the house by myself while I'm cleaning or whatever. I regret that's all the dancing I get to do.
