There is a song caled "Wolly Bully" on my step tape.I don't really like the song but I'm so happy when I hear it because I know it's almost over.LOL Yesterday I realized though how much I love working out, or actually how much I love running.I was in a lousy mood and my first thought was that a run would really help. And it did.I think the key to any successful exercise program is finding what you love, what works for you.Even just the average day can take alot out of a person. It's important that we find ways to put back what the day takes out.Counteract the stress that any or most days hold.Sometimes it's a good workout. Sometimes it might be a phonne call or a cup of coffee with a good friend.Sometimes it might be as simple as 15 mins of quiet time by yourself.Make sure that no mater how busy or how crazy life gets you find time for the things you enjoy, the things you love.
So what's up with everyone today?Grace, thinking about you today.I know everything will go well.Deb, hope the problems with the wedding dresses are getting straightened out.Rhonda, I've been thinking alot about your post about having to go back to work.I know it must be an overwhelming thought at times. But I also know if anyone can do it and do well at it you can.
Hope everyone has a Wonderful Wednesday!!

Every time I read your morning post I just want to give you a big hug.
Gotta' get moving - busy day. Going to take ds to physical therapy evaluation. At least I don't have to work tonight. Workout was a 3 mi. powerwalk and weights for UB/LB.
Have a cool one!
I've been out of the loop as of late. I've not been sleeping well or feeling like myself the past few weeks and I seem to be the sole ventee to at least 3 other ventors around here that can leave one wanting to put headphones on so I can hear no more. It's not that I don't want to hear or I don't care but it can be frustrating when you hear and you listen you give advise they agree with the advise and then do the complete opposite anyway. By the time the work day is over, the after work hours are done leaves me pretty well done.
Anyway, I have been enjoying after dinner walks which has been my sole means of exercise the past couple of weeks. DD and I have worked our butts off cleaning up, boxing up and throwing out stuff in hopes of a good garage sale next weekend. I can't believe the stuff that has accumulated around here and leaves me shaking my head at times what was I thinking. Nothing that goes out for this garage sale will enter these doors again! I am going to a yoga demonstration this evening that is being sponsored by our local hospital's womens'health and wellness center. I'm really looking forward to it.
That's about it in this neck of the woods. This week's weather has been so beautiful but defintitely seeing signs that fall is approaching very rapidly.
Hope it is a wonderful Wednesday for you all!
By the way could someone please tell my DH that if you're tired and haven't been sleeping well that 10:15 is really not that early to go to bed!

Had some trouble getting on the board this morning, but caught a quick glimpse of posts in outline. Susan, sorry to hear you're feeling under the weather again. Missed you the last couple of days, and hope you're on the mend and rested soon.
Sam the Sham and the Pharaohs? I laugh out loud whenever I hear their couple of songs; they were hits when I was around 11 or 12 (in real time) and my headphone-less transistor radio weighed about 8 lbs, nowhere near the tiny size of today's MP3 players, et al.
I decided to relinquish the treadmill and weight bench to DH tonight. I think I'd rather be in the kitchen cooking than in the dungeon huffing and puffing. My hips could use the break. Maybe I'll grab one of my coworkers and head out for a not-so-fitness walk along the Charles River at lunchtime.
Non-scale victory - I got a slim-fitting black sleeveless turtleneck top (large) on sale at H&M last week and put it on for super casual day today with my jeans. It's a little big, but still close-fitting. Feeling pretty good!!
Happy to say the big proposal review is over, and the content was approved by the "Red Team" reviewers, even if they thought the organization of the information was off. Rearranging and editing text on the agenda for the next day or so; no big rewrites, thank heavens, so it looks like there will only be one late night leading to the weekend.
Hope you all have a productive and happy Wednesday!

I've found that Devo's Greatest Hits is a good CD to run to, especially "That's Good" (close to my pace), "Freedom of Choice" (same), "Whip It" (go forward, move ahead, whip it good for those hills!). First song is "Here to Go" which is great to start with. Today it was downright funny to end with "Working In the Coal Mine": Lord! I am SOOOOOO tired! How long can this go on?!
Longer to-do list today. Gotta post over on the November 1998 Playgroup and then start tackling it.

Patty, have you ever considered approaching your local paper about a column like "Good Morning, Luray" or something like that? Hope you're keeping a collection of some of the things you post here. I think you'd be great at it.
Thanks for your encouraging words to me about the job. I must confess I keep hoping something will happen that I don't have to go back to work. I really like having the freedom to do volunteer work and things around here or with Rob for his activities. My older sister and niece and "the girls" are coming down around Labor Day (CAN'T WAIT!), and we're going to do some brainstorming and check out some places. She's so organized and is far enough removed from the situation emotionally not to be paralyzed by it. Thank goodness for family!!

I think your first paragraph echoes the sentiments of all of us. Patty's probably one of the best arguments for cloning. ;-) A twin is not enough. LOL!
Great job on your running. Your post is one of the main ones that got to go out and walk today. This temple needs a LOT of remodeling!
