Go buy the tickets. You've had a hard week. I myself didn't lose a thing this week. Here in Western NY its pretty hot high 80's and my feet are swollen. I figure once the heat goes away I'll be back on track. Is it hot where you are? Take care of yourself. Hope your ds is better soon. God bless. AC

It is your choice as to whether or not you buy the ticket. But you should look at the positive side, you still maintained your healthy eating and that in itself is a reward. Did you gain any weight, if not that is another reason for a reward. Also stress can take a big toll on any weight loss program. I recently read an article on efitness.com

about that which made a lot of since. Here is the link to the web site on the article:

http://www.efitness.com/news/article.cfm?article_id=11188&code=2421

Please keep trying and don't give up one minute before the miracle. I have actually gained 2 or 3 pounds in a day from poor eating and the after a couple of days of getting back on track lost it back. I think it was Cussette who posted some of your positive accomplishments in a message earlier today. You have come a long way and if going to a concert helps you to stay on track then do it. If you go ahaed and purchase the ticket it might force you to try a little harder to earn it.

Hope things work out for you.

Ladyirish, you have been thru alot this week, and it is a victory that you stayed OP all week despite the stress you underwent with your son being sick. I say purchase the tickets and get that CD replaced! You deserve some relaxation no matter what! The fact that you are eating healthy and taking care of your body is victory enough - you are establishing good habits & I'm sure your body is responding in a good way! A showing on the scale won't happen every single week. It's wonderful that you like to cook and are cooking good meals for your health.

I will keep you and your ds in my prayers. Keep up the healthy habits and take good care of yourself, you're worth it!

Mary....don't you dare give in. This is when it's so important to hold the course. You *can* do it!!! Tomorrow is another day. Our weight fluctuates so much. Your lack of loss may be due to sodium. Please, please,.....don't give in to the temptation. You have done so well. Stay strong. We love you! At least, wait until tomorrow.

Warmly,

Shar

Mary,

I can't say anymore or anything any better than what the other ladies have said. You've done really well under some trying circumstances. "A" is for effort also and you have put forth some great effort. Go and enjoy that concert to reward yourself for being consistent and sticking to your plan and to release some of that stress and tension you've been experiencing. And by all means contact Amazon-I've found that they are a good company to deal with!

Keep up your good work!

Hugs,

Hugs, Mary, and I wholly agree with what everyone else has said, but especially Lori about not being so hard on yourself. Look at the progress you've made: you're at a weight you hadn't seen for, what, 10 years? Progress indeed! And despite a tough week, you didn't slip back into former habits. Highly visible results aren't always going to happen weekly. This isn't just about losing weight, Mary - it's about you chosing a completely different and healthier lifestyle. Irish eyes will be a-smilin', remember that!
