I received this link http://www.efitness.com/news/article.cfm?article_id=11188&code=2421 in an email from efitness.com. It is a pretty good article and actually made since to me. It explains how stress can actually have an huge impact on weight problems.

I hope you enjoy it.

Interesting article. I've always agreed that exercise helps decrease appetite - probably those beta endorphins kicking in do that. It's weird how lack of activity when one is stressed leads to "feeling" hungry or "craving" something.

Exercise is also a great energizer.

Thanks for the article.

Thanks for sharing. Interesting that, like the appendix, we don't need some of the stuff we've had since the beginning, but getting primal (physical) can help. The more I read, the more I realize how important physical activity is.

I'm checking out that abs article, too.

I just read the article on ab's. A long time ago I had a "Tony Little" video which concentrated on the abs & lower back. Apparently he had been in an accident and recieved extensive back injuries and the exercises on the video helped him to regain his strenght. I was doing the exercises one night when my son was about 13 or 14 and he called it "Sissy Exercises". I made him get on the floor and proove to me that he could keep up and he found out it wasn't as easy as it looked. I don't know what happend to that video but I still remember some of the different style crunches and have started combining them with my stretch workouts. I actually enjoyed doing that workout, it had 3 levels to work with, the music wasn't to bad, and he wasn't to bad on the eyes either. Now I have a "Getting Fit After Forty" video that I enjoy. I also have 3 of the "Sweatin To The Oldies" and a "Belly Dancing" video which I used to exercise to but usually save the videos for winter time.
