1) weight loss, gain, or maintain or clothing size changes
2) exercise routine times & activities
3) meals whether healthy or junk food, possibly even include some healthy suggestions
4) anything else that helps to motivate us to stay on track
My Results:
1) gained 2 lbs (weighed in @ 167 today)which will come back off (ate too much yesterday)
2) increased routine until yesterday (worked 12 hrs & I sit most of the time, I do try to skip @ work whenever I can {LOL})
3) ate healty until yesterday, had a good old fashion frisco burger, onion rings, and an old fashion cherry coke
4) my muscles and joints are letting me know that I increased the work out but it lets me know that it's working. No Pain No Gain (or loss in this case)
Well how's everyone else doing?
Alice - The Betty Boop

You worked 12 hours???
Maintaining here. Waist measurement at a point I'm happy with, but I've not stepped on the scales. Tummy a little pouffy from less than exemplary eating (those sweets!).
2) exercise routine times & activities
Running M-W-F for 42-48 minutes (4.1-4.6 miles). Water aerobics for an hour on T-T. Weight workout (Body Sculpt) Tues-Sat with abs work, about an hour per day.
3) meals whether healthy or junk food, possibly even include some healthy suggestions
Doing okay in regular meals, but the presence of dessert has been too tempting! Grilled chicken & pineapple on Tuesday - great recipe with pineapple juice & ginger. Tonight was shrimp in a garlic wine sauce
4) anything else that helps to motivate us to stay on track
Devo on the CD player has been my mainstay lately. I dunno - I had focused in my mind the trip to the theme park tomorrow, and I knew I wanted to work out today beforehand. That's put me on the pace for 6 workout days this week. Other motivation is the race that's coming up next Saturday.
Thanks, Alice!

2) exercise routine times & activities - I'm definitely going to have to do better with this. I can relate to you, Alice, on the working so many hours per day. Usually, I work 11 hrs. per day & 14 or so per weekend, but this weekend I was off!! I will do a powerwalk this p.m. An activity I did today was actually get to sit thru SS AND Church!! Sassy, I'm sure you will guess what the sermon was about today - different Church! It was a great message, however. I enjoyed my SS class, too. I put a note on the visitor card that I was interested in getting baptized (I was sprinkled as a baby into the Presbyterian Church - well, now I need to do what Jesus did).
Yesterday, I ended up cleaning out junk instead of going to Shreveport. Had a great time, throwing out stuff (this Wed. I plan to take salvageables to the Women's Shelter). I also had a haircut and bought some new lingerie and shoes on sale at Mervyn's (these replace some pretty ratty stuff, believe you me!). I love Mervyn's shoes.
3) meals whether healthy or junk food, possibly even include some healthy suggestions
I ate mostly within my WW points. I'm trying to practice moderation in everything (except devotions!!).
4) anything else that helps to motivate us to stay on track - Everything in this world is God's - he owns it all. God wants his children to have it all. God wants his blessings to circulate, not be horded. The secret of being blessed is to GIVE. I need to give from God's actual resources rather than my apparent resources. This was in our message for today at Church. In other words, in all things to God be the glory and I can do all things thru Christ Jesus. That includes working out and eating right. You know, Phyllis, I'm going to have to look for that book about health by Stormy. I think she has made several exercise videos in the past, too. I guess Amazon.com would be the least costly place to obtain a copy.
Thanks, Alice!
As much as I can, I go through Amazon Marketplace and buy used books.
2)7 days of cardio this week, 1 day of weights upper and lower,
3)Food hasn't been too bad this week, let myself eat what I wanted which usually makes it less of an issue for me
4)listened to one of my favorite cds during several runs, used my workouts to work off some stress, had set a goal to increase my mileage this week and met that
