Monday night check-in

I know it's late, and I don't know if anyone else wanted to check in, but . . . did you all have a good Monday? I'm hoping the answer is yes. Was there a workout in your day today? Or, like myself, did you have a rest day? How were your menus? I kept to my points today, but am sure hungry right now. I didn't do well with water, though, so better up that intake tomorrow

Better mosey on to bed so I won't be tempted to eat.

The only projects I accomplished at home today were my devotionals. Tomorrow will be a more productive day, I'm hoping.

Sweet Dreams, don't let the bed bugs bite (LOL) (I would tell the kids that each night).

I upped my bicycle ride from 5.8 mi to 7.7 mi. It actually felt longer so when DH & I got home I had to check the mileage with the car to see how far we road. It felt good. It sounds like a line my parents would say about walking to school, but most of the ride seems uphill. We live in a small sub-division that is at a lower elevation that the rest of the town. Remember norther Texas is mainly flat ground so the inclines are gradual which isn't to bad.

We had left over speghetti for dinner and a pudding cup for dessert. I take small bites of the pudding so one last me as long as DH eats two. Well it's bed time here so Nighty Night.

I took a day off from workouts. Most of my day was spent in CL.The one project I did accomplish was some cleaning in the kitchen.Food was very relaxed Monday, which means I ate too many of the wrong things :)Today I need to do much better and get back to working out.

I managed to run, under bodily protest ;^)! Got 3.2 miles in, walked maybe about 1/10th. It was already warm, very muggy, my legs were tired from doing the theme park the previous day, and AF was trying to sneak in a week early. So I think any run was an accomplishment.

Made 2 types of bread yesterday, it all went flat (I let it rise too long the second time because I had to go pick up Allison). So last night we had Penne Pasta with Flat French Bread, LOL!

The day wasn't all lost, though, because I got Al's website updated and finally got my kitchen drawers organized and my Tool Turnabout cleaned out. MUCH easier to find things! I'm gradually organizing my world, and I like the results.
