**Labor Day Post**

Good morning everyone!Anyone have to labor today or does everyone have the day off?I was reading an article about the history and background of the holiday. It talked about the effort made to get the workday down to 8 hrs.Does anyone feel like their workday is only 8 hrs?For most people leaving their 8 hr day means going home to more work that needs to be done. And for those who work inside the home the work seems at times to never end.Finding the balance between work and downtime can be challenging in todays world.Bootys post yesterday touched on taking time to enjoy something sweet and simple. It was a wonderful post and a great reminder to slow down and savor life.
Anyone wrapping up summer with a picnic or get together?Lori, how was Bob's Big Bad BBQ?Is everyone still having summer weather or has fall arrived where you are?Anyone workout plans for today?
Hope you have time to relax and enjoy your day.

Well, I have the day completely off, so everyone else should too! LOL! I'm going for another 5 or 6 miles walk/run and I may do a workout video today for fun. I will probably do a little cleaning (pooey) and want to run into Tyler to shop. That's less than an hour drive from here.
DS' dad bought him some weights you strap around your ankles - I'll be using those, too, thanks! Also, I found out I can use the AK Fitness Therapy equipment for free while ds is undergoing therapy. I'll probably only use the cardio machines and only when ds is there in the afternoon, but that's pretty neat-o!
Rhonda, we are all thinking about you and wondering how you are. Will keep you and family in my prayers.
Have a good holiday, everyone.
8 hours?

Eric's at work this am and I'm going to do a little laboring around the house...scare the cat with the vacuum, etc.
