Good morning everyone! How is everyone doing today or is it too soon to tell?

So what is planned for today? Is it a day of rest for you?I think in todays world it is unfortunately hard to set aside a day for rest.Weekends seem to be a time of catch up from the previous week or to get ahead of the week to come. One of my new favorite songs is called Be Still.A line that stays in my head is"sometimes you have to give yourself some downtime, unwind just to keep your sanity".Downtime is different for each of us.Some may really want to workout. Some may want to spend extra time with friends or family. And some may just want time all to themselves.Whatever it is that recharges you is important to make time for.Time to reflect on the good things that have happened in the past week. Time to take stock and reflect on the positives in your life.To be thankful for the things you consider to be blessings in your life.Time to afirm the challenges you've met and the things you've accomplished.Time to simply savor peacefulness.

So how are you spending today?Do you have plans or are just winging it today? However you spend it I hope you are each blessed with a wonderful day.

Good morning, all!

Another beautiful day here - starts cool and sunny, warms up a bit, then cools drastically as the night falls. Loving it!

Mission accomplished on the shower/wedding gift shopping Saturday. Not a speck of progress on my dressy clothing, but I'm planning a late night in town after work one night this week to try on stuff. Bad week to shop - I'll be accompanied by AF bloat - so maybe I'll wait to actually buy until next week. I saw an episode of What Not To Wear Friday night, and I loved the red dressy dress the woman chose for her homecoming party - the style is a standard and will be good on me. Would love it in the red, a deep jewel-toned blue, or the old standby black.

Headed out for breakfast - well, DH will eat, I'll watch and drink coffee, as I've already eaten - and then to the craft show as planned, however, sans friend and her fiance. Should be a lovely day to spend outdoors. We'll head home late afternoon and I'll do a quick weight workout while dinner is in the oven (pork roast, sweet potatoes, and broccoli, with a touch of Brigham's "Reverse the Curse" ice cream for dessert - Margie will understand the "Curse"; it has nothing to do with AF and everything to do with Babe Ruth, the Red Sox, and the Yankees....

Have a great day, everyone!

I've had a really good week. Dd came home from the hospital on Monday, Adam started school on Tuesday (and is very happy with his class and his teacher). It's made a huge difference at our house as far as sibling rivalry. Since the boys have this time apart, they are actually enjoying each other's company and playing well together. Dh and I are just shaking our heads in amazement!! LOL

The best part of all is that I have gotten some kind of workout in every single day this week and most days last week. I've been walking alot. Usually clocking well over 10,000 steps each day. I leave Max with dd when I walk Adam to school and when I come back I've been adding about a mile of hills to my walk. I've also gotten back into the Abs and UB weight workouts!! Yahoo!!!

Eating has been awesome and I've been taking my vities. The only thing I need to work on is my H2O intake!

Today is a sewing day for me. I was going to do it yesterday, but got involved in some knitting projects instead.

Enjoy your Sunday ladies!

Those 4 lbs. will come off in no time with all of that running you do, Princess! I'll do my best not to tempt you with posts on unmentionable food items.

I was doing so great up until yesterday. My back decided to give me fits, so I ate whatever - not huge portions, but definitely didn't count points. I also went out on the trail yesterday, but didn't run too long. I love my new Adidas running shoes, though! Today, I called in sick to Steinmart as I am just not going to stand for 6 hours after working 8 yesterday. Not with this sick back of mine. I think AF makes it worse, though, so after she leaves, the pain may ease. Am thinking of going to the chiropracter or somewhere to have an x-ray done - I have back pain frequently ever since my teen years when I fell down a flight of stairs. I've never had an x-ray, though.

I want to go to worship service tonight at a friend's church - may do that even though I played hooky today! Other than that, I've plugged in the back massager w/heat and am applying that & will lie on the heating pad. I also have some linament.

Have a blessed Sunday everyone!

Good Afternoon!

Had a busy day today. But no workout, at least not officially. Been "working" on DD's bedroom all afternoon. Ugh. Cleaning out every single drawer, going thru each item of clothing, paper, book, etc., and cleaning out. Getting her room ready to paint. Will rip her carpeting out and check out the floors underneath. Might need to be refinished. Going to get either an area rug or a few larger sized throw rugs. Redoing her closet with a closet organizer kit. Replacing her folding closet door with two six panel doors. Replacing her ceiling fan. Lots of fun stuff! Her room doesn't get done, however, until DH finishes the dining room. Which will be over the next couple of weeks.

That's my day. Tomorrow is going to be a filled day, but my workout and devotion time is first on the agenda.

Later!

Sassy
