Good Morning Mo the newbi here. I just wanted to say Thank You all for your Friday Frug posts. I also post on the depression board and the perimenopause board and was not feeling too hot tonight or morning for you east coasters. I read the Friday Frug posts and they really cheered me up. You are all awesome and I think the way you support each other is great. I am, after being in a major depression and on Psych meds, finally trying to get control of my life and start to

Hi Mo, I was "out of the loop" with plenty of projects going on around the time you posted and welcomes went around. Life gets that way sometimes :^). I'm glad you're seeking - and getting - help for your depression, and may it stay under control.

Best of luck with Weight Watchers. We have several WW members here who've been successful with it. I like the concept of moderation that they use. Diet fads and trends come and go, but the principles of ingesting less than you use, or using more than you ingest through physical activity, have yet to change.

Hi Mo, :)

I also missed your welcoming message. I've been really busy the past couple of weeks. I also had some computer problems so I haven't got to check the board in a while. I'm glad you are here with us. There is a great bunch of ladies here that I've found have a lot of expierence and good advice.

I used to have a Tony Little exercise tape but I don't know what happened to it. The next time I go to Walmart I'm going to look for it again. It was directed at the "abs" and it helped a lot. Thanks for the info. I needed to loose 40 lbs when I started visiting this site. I've lost 9 lbs and feel really good about it. Some of the mushy fat is starting to become firm muscle. I'm actually begiing to miss it when I don't get to exercise. I think I'm becoming an adrelin junky (LOL) and like the feeling of my heart rate and blood flow being increased. I also like the way my muscles are beginning to look.

Hope to hear from you more.

(((((Mo))))), I'm so glad you're here -- I've enjoyed your posts on the Depression Support Board, too.

And I'm finding from my own experience that it's a self-generating cycle:

Glad to see you post again, Mo, and to hear you're feeling better. I think the support of family and friends is so crucial through difficult times, and I believe you'll get plenty of support, friendship, humor, and good ideas here.

Hi Lori, I like the Gazelle. My son mister macho kind of made fun of me till I made him get on it. He said wow that's a lot harder than it looks. The only problem for me is after about fifteen minutes my feet are killing me from not moving them. The one I got at Wal Mart folds up so you can lean it agains a wall or maybe under a bed. Luckily I have the room in the livingroom so it's not a problem. My office has my exercycle and weight bench. I started just using the barbell with no weights on it last night it weighs about 15 lbs. When I can do three sets of twenty I will add the 3 lb weights. I tend to bulk up and get muscular which dh likes but I want to tone first. Twelve years ago I was
