I'm so frustrated....
| Tue, 09-21-2004 - 8:56pm |
Again waiting for this doctor's office to call me. No calls at work nothing on my answering machine. I called the office when I got home, I got the well she's not at her desk, I'll have her call you. I explain it's been 2 weeks...please let me know what's going on. No return call. I didn't call again thinking that a lot of times these call backs are made after hours are over, but it's now 8:45 and nothing. I ended up canceling my tutoring session, the dog never got out for his walk and now I'm so angry I want to scream and so frustrated that I want to cry and have ended up doing both. There's been no one home since DH and DD are both away, DS is working and DD hasn't gotten home from grad school classes yet. I opened a can of soup for dinner and ended up throwing it out because it was so salty that I couldn't eat it. My toaster oven incinerated my english muffin so the whole house stinks, rammed my toe so hard thought that I broke it, fighting off a sore throat and I haven't been able to get hold of my daughter to wish her a happy birthday.
Thanks for listening...just had to get that out of my system. Think it's time to drown my bad mood in the shower and go to bed before I end up with a 1/2 gallon of ice cream and a big spoon which will certainly not solve anything and hope that tomorrow is a better day.

(((((Susan))))), I'm sorry you're having such a rotten time.

If this was a real life it would have come with instructions.
Boy, Susan, talk about a bad day!!! Really sorry you're having to go through such an anxious time. I believe I'd go to the office and park myself in front of the receptionist's station until I got an answer. If I didn't, the whole waiting room would know about it.
Hope things improve greatly today.
Hugs,
Rhonda

Too late to offer consolation. Hope that today is truly a better day....but not so much better that you don't remember the rotten treatment you've received from the staff at your doctor's practice and won't take steps to remedy it. I don't care how busy they are -you've been hanging on pins and needles for 2 weeks. I'd call work, tell them you have business to attend to this morning that won't wait, and head to the doctor's office and become a barnicle on the waiting room sofa - and a loud one at that. You hold the power here - to stick with the doctor or leave the practice and hit them in their wallets.
Good for you for not making nice with the ice cream and big spoon - don't punish yourself because of someone else...
Hugs,
Donna
Susan, I wish there was a way to make this all disappear for you. I feel your frustration in your message.
