I'm so frustrated....

Again waiting for this doctor's office to call me. No calls at work nothing on my answering machine. I called the office when I got home, I got the well she's not at her desk, I'll have her call you. I explain it's been 2 weeks...please let me know what's going on. No return call. I didn't call again thinking that a lot of times these call backs are made after hours are over, but it's now 8:45 and nothing. I ended up canceling my tutoring session, the dog never got out for his walk and now I'm so angry I want to scream and so frustrated that I want to cry and have ended up doing both. There's been no one home since DH and DD are both away, DS is working and DD hasn't gotten home from grad school classes yet. I opened a can of soup for dinner and ended up throwing it out because it was so salty that I couldn't eat it. My toaster oven incinerated my english muffin so the whole house stinks, rammed my toe so hard thought that I broke it, fighting off a sore throat and I haven't been able to get hold of my daughter to wish her a happy birthday.

Thanks for listening...just had to get that out of my system. Think it's time to drown my bad mood in the shower and go to bed before I end up with a 1/2 gallon of ice cream and a big spoon which will certainly not solve anything and hope that tomorrow is a better day.

Susan, I'm sorry to hear that you are being treated this way...there is really no excuse for this at all.

Susan, I agree with the others about the ice cream way to go. As to your Doctor I have been having problems with mine not calling me back and when I saw her the last time I brought it up. It turns out her CNA had not been giving her my messages or other peoples. I think I would try calling the office manager and tell them how your feeling and ask if they could make sure your Doctor gets the message. If you still don't get a call back I'd find a new Doctor and let yours know why. I really hope you get good news soon. Hugs Mo

Boy, Susan, talk about a bad day!!! Really sorry you're having to go through such an anxious time. I believe I'd go to the office and park myself in front of the receptionist's station until I got an answer. If I didn't, the whole waiting room would know about it.

Hope things improve greatly today.

Hugs,

Rhonda

Good for you not eating that ice cream. Hard thing to do, especially being as upset as you are. (((HUGS))) to you. I hope you took that hot bath last night and got to relax some and you got a good nights rest. Sorry about that doctor. Rude and there is no reason you or anyone else should be put off like that. I agree, maybe time to find a new doc. Like Rhonda said I would park my butt in the front office and demand an explanation. Let the office, the doc, and the rest of the patients know you will not tolerate that kind of treatment. Hope you have a better day toady.

Too late to offer consolation. Hope that today is truly a better day....but not so much better that you don't remember the rotten treatment you've received from the staff at your doctor's practice and won't take steps to remedy it. I don't care how busy they are -you've been hanging on pins and needles for 2 weeks. I'd call work, tell them you have business to attend to this morning that won't wait, and head to the doctor's office and become a barnicle on the waiting room sofa - and a loud one at that. You hold the power here - to stick with the doctor or leave the practice and hit them in their wallets.

Good for you for not making nice with the ice cream and big spoon - don't punish yourself because of someone else...

Susan, I wish there was a way to make this all disappear for you. I feel your frustration in your message.

Thanks to all of you for your support. Unfortunately I can't be sitting staring at the office staff (and I do have one in particular) but you can bet my fingers will be dialing his number at 11:01. I did actually have the ice cream last night but limited myself to a small scoop and a small spoon and did make my scratchy throat feel better. I'll let you know if they let me know anything.

Thanks!

Lots of hugs. What a rotten time of it you've been having, and all because someone is not keeping you apprised. Ridiculous. I'd probably be at the doctor's office standing in everyone's way until I got an answer, and as others have suggested that'd be the last visit I'd make. I'd probably write the doctor directly, too. Apparently they simply have too much business to address the concerns of one insignificant client (tongue firmly in cheek).

Hope today is better.
