I did in fact speak to the doctor's office. In facr I had the delight of going to his office to get the facts straightened out. My blood work did in fact come back the same and with even a slightly higher level but with no reason why. The ran every possibility of every cause but all negative which was the big hold up on the results-in fact they are still waiting on more test. I did get an apology for the long delay and for the lack of a phone call last night. I have been referred now to a liver specialist for evaluation and will be seeing him on Friday. But of course as has been the case all along something else has come up. A cyst has shown up on the sonogram. He did explain that a sonogram and the bouncing of the sound waves can bounce off something else and appear as a cyst so the only true way of seeing exactly what it is is an abdominal CAT scan-so that will be Tuesday's agenda. Apparently with the advancement of medical technology-things that you may have always been there will show up while looking for something else. So no answers just more doctors and more tests. The good thing of the day-my blood pressure was normal-go figure! You may all have to come to Asheville with a giant roll of tape and some crazy glue to keep me together!

Susan,

My heart goes out to you for the big run-around these doctors have put you through.

The whole medical thing can be so exasperating! I'm amazed that your blood pressure wasn't sky high, even if it had previously been normal, after all they've put you through.

My dad basically did this for 2 years with almost every kind of specialist imaginable, so he has a pretty low opinion of the medical community, at this point.

Here's hoping that your test Tuesday will clear everything up and that your results will be good. Tim had two different tests come back abnormal about his liver, but then nothing was ever found. Even our advanced technology can give some screwy results sometimes.

Hugs,

Rhonda

I just can't imagine all you've gone thru and are still going thru.I wish I knew the right words to make you feel better but I'm not sure those words even exist.I just want you to know how much you're in my thoughts and how much I care.If there is anything I can do to help let me know.It is nothing short of amazing that your BP was normal with all this stress!!Take care.

I've been wondering how his tests came out.

Pins and needles news for sure---hoping your next set of tests gives you quick answers and all is ok.

They weren't able to find anything, so at this point they seem to think it was
