~~Fall into Friday~~

Good morning everyone!I'm trying to get my head around the fact that this is the last friday of this month!I was talking to my sister about how fast time is flying by and she started in on some reasoning that it was an age related thing.Surely there must be some other reason.

I drove my family crazy yesterday exclaiming over the signs of fall .The mountains are just begining to show the signs of leaves changing. At one place the small maple tress were really changing and were so beautiful.I realized I was focused so much on how bad the winter might be I wasn't enjoying all the great things of fall.I was looking too far ahead and not enjoying now.I think maybe it was the pumpkin pie I had yesterday that brought my focus back around to the right place :)

So how are you wrapping up your week?Working out or resting?Any 15 min projects to get done?

Hope you each have a fantastic Friday!

Miss P

Good Morning,

I do enjoy the fall although it does lead into winter which I'm not a big fan of. Today is Friday, pay day and another trip to another doctor. I'll be curious to hear his thoughts but really to the point where I don't expect to hear many answers. Dh will be returning home this evening-I've really missed the big guy! He really seemed to enjoy the experience and apparently the food! I have been so far from the domestic goddess scene this week-not sure how I'm going to react to actually have to cook a meal. It was DS and I for dinner last night and he had a major cavity filled yesterday so he was on a soft diet so we shared some scrambled eggs-my idea of cooking as of late!

Nothing new and exciting from this neck of the woods. I do hope that each of you enjoys a fantastic Friday!

Susan, I hope that this trip to the doctor proves to be less frustrating than the last several have been.

I didn't even think about the fact that this is the last Friday of the month....you really put that into perspective, didn't you?

Good morning!

Patty, your description of the signs of fall got me all enthused. I have a busy fall ahead of me, especially the Saturdays, but I'm hoping I can tear DH away from the Red Sox in the playoffs and the Patriots on Sunday afternoons so we can get out and enjoy it up here.

I hope to work out this evening - just dragging around and not really engaged in today. I feel like I'm just going through the motions. As soon as my head clears, I know I'll feel better and get moving.

At least I'll be eating and cooking healthy today. I can't taste much, so I'll probably have a smaller-than-usual salad at lunch; dinner is grilled swordfish, buttercup squash, and either steamed broccoli or asparagus, with the SBD pumpkin pudding for dessert.

Linda and Rhonda - Any special storm preparations going on?

Have a good one!

I am really enjoying the weather this fall. There is the dry of weather of fall, the warm days of summer and the cool nights of fall. The grass is looking good yet and not burning out. I used to think spring was my favorite season, but it has been very short lately and humid. Fall really gets me going with the cooler temps. I can't wait to see what Asheville is going to look like with the leaves changing colors, etc.

The time is going way too fast. It is almost Oct!!

Going out for lunch today with a someone I met online right here at ivillage. She posts at the gymrats board. We have met a couple of times already and we really hit if off.

Nothing else planned for the weekend. Hoping to spend time with DDs and Dh.

Hugs

What scrambled eggs for dinner is not cooking? Hey, call it an omelet and then you have a goumet meal. Glad you were able to "goof off" in the domestic department a little this past week. Have a nice homecoming...;).

Good luck at the doctor's today. Curious to hear his spin on everything.
