I'm bored bored bored. Sure I have work to do, but I've worked really REALLY hard the past few weeks, and now all three bosses are out of the office, so it's hard to get motivated. Tomorrow I'll do the filing...
DH and I are doing Fat to Muscle, an old plan from the '80s (before fat free sour cream was invented, ha ha!). We're on Burn 1 Day 2, so for breakfast we had 1/2 bagel (he had grape jelly on his, I had honey), some herbal tea, a cup of watermelon and blueberries (served in my Waterford crystal glasses), a cup of fat free yogurt (he had strawberry, I had vanilla). For lunch we had mixed vegetable pita pockets, stuffed with lettuce, broccoli, chick peas, kidney beans, scallions, and a homemade herb vinageraitte. For dessert we had kiwi and grapefruit compote. Tonight we're having chicken cacciatore (chicken breast, 1/4C mushrooms, 1/4C green pepper, simmered in fat-free tomatoe sauce for 15 minutes) on angel hair pasta, zuccini, a small salad, and 1C skim milk. I'm thinking I might heat and froth the milk and add honey, to make it more of a dessert.
I got through yet another scan-really really hope that this is the last for a very loooooong time! Got home and have been a complete couch potato. Both times I've had this test I ended up with the same upset stomach-don't know whether to blame the "cocktail" you have to drink or the IV that gets inserted into the arm-either way it's over done with and hopefully results tomorrow. I was going to attempt some sort of physical activity but have opted for the sedentary life style for the remainder of the evening. Otto's post dinner walk was canceled due to nasty weather. The rain is nothing like what I saw in Rhonda's pictures but lots of it nonetheless. So I am going to retire to the couch and perhaps take my laundry out of the dryer if I feel so inclined.
Hope you've all had a good day and a pleasant evening!
Busy day here. Worked until 1:30 and came home to laundry, dog hair on my rugs, and did I mention more laundry. I think it breeds itself. Picked Katie up from school, she brought her hamster in today, did a grocery store run, home, more laundry, ran Katie to her riding lesson. Dropped her off and ran and weighed in. I stayed the same, that is good considering what and when I ate this week. Home cooking dinner now for my family and then putting kids to bed. The exercise just was not happening today, maybe tomorrow.

But first, to the pool with me!
Have a great evening,
