I have boxes and boxes of clothes that I've never worn -- probably $1,000's of them.

Way to go! I am so happy for you. I have a big plastic bag of pants I can't wear but couldn't part with that I am determined to get back into. I finally did it and joined Weight Watchers tonight. I'd take music over clothes too right now lol. Hugs Mo

If this was a real life it would have come with instructions.
And who says Hawaiian shirts are tacky?! Maybe on Wall Street, but in real life, they're beautiful and colorful, like an exotic parrot....(can you tell Jimmy Buffett was in town only a little while ago?)
Congratulations, Mary!

Sounds like great fun! I'd love to get to that point again. I have thousands of dollars worth of clothes I keep hoping to get back into too. Trouble is, I haven't done anything to make it happen.
Hawaiian shirts are very popular here -- particularly in the summer and if you live on the beach side of the intracoastal.

I rotate through my clothes once a year. I've divided the year into 8 seasons, starting on Memorial Day. Each 'season' has ~6.5 weeks in it. I have six work outfits for each season. When I wear one, I just put it to the back of the rotation, and the next day wear the next outfit, etc. I store all the other seasons for free at the dry cleaner's. That way every 6.5 weeks it's like a little mini-Christmas. Nothing like what you have going though! Let us know what fits and what doesn't.
All the best,
Lee Ann
