I think my body is still in shock that I actually lifted weights last night. I'm surprised that I'm not sore. It'll probably hit tomorrow. I think I'll give them another go today, by gosh.

Need to get some more Diazinon to put on the yard to get rid of the sod webworms before they get rid of the lawn. I could stand to edge and use the blower after mowing yesterday. Also, I need to be

Today I'm at work with no bosses again, hoorah! I didn't get in until 8:16am though, I'm supposed to start at 8. I think I'm going to change alarm clocks and use a rousing Strauss Waltz to get me up and out of bed in the mornings.

I did so much at home this morning I had to come to work to rest. I tried canning some chicken broth but the canner didn't get to pressure, so I'll have to do that tonight. Did a load of laundry, load of dishes. Made breakfast and packed Dh's lunch. My cat ate my toast! So I've got some fat free vanilla yogurt and blueberries as a 10am snack.

Last night was cold, so I covered my tomatoe plants with a tarp, so I had to remove that before work.

Today at lunch I'll go home, feed the cats, finish the dishes, put the cooled jars of broth in the fridge until tonight, make my lunch, clean up the cat poop, pee and gak (I have two senior kitties).

Tonight after work I go to the chiropractor, then home to make fettucini, steamed summer squash, and salad. Watermelon for dessert.

Today is the last day our favorite ice cream stand is open for the season, it's going to be hard to resist...

Good morning!

My sun dance worked - the clouds cleared just as work let out Wednesday night and today is just a gorgeous day. A little nippy to be going around in sandals, but I can't bring myself to put them away yet; maybe by Thanksgiving. Plus, if I might give way to vanity, my pedicure looks really nice and I don't want to cover it up. I've always hated how my feet look and never paid attention to how neat a pedi can make them. Figures I'd discover this as boot weather creeps up on us.

DH is home today - I ordered him to call the dr's office and try to get in there for a visit. He's definitely a candidate for antibiotics. He was awake all night (I was so exhausted from not sleeping the night before that I didn't hear a thing), as evidenced by the trail all over the house of tea bags and mugs, salt-water gargle glasses, and the late night soup he prepared for himself. I'm still stuffy and feel like my balance is off a bit, but compared to DH, I'm well on the other side of this thing.

I'm planning a full workout tonight before the debate; I don't have any big stuff brewing at work so I'll be able to get out of here even a little early, home to the dungeon, done and showered by 7:30. Dinner is grilled swordfish (the rest of the stash I bought last week, fresh, at an awesome bargain) and whatever edible flora are in the fridge. I replaced the "Reverse the Curse" ice cream last week, too. It's been calling me since, but I've managed to make do with just a spoonful when the voices got too loud; that could change tonight.

Have a good one!

Rhonda, your posts are great...they are helping me get to know everyone. I did well yesterday on my eating and exercising, so I have to have a plan for today as well. I am doing leftover vegie stirfry for lunch, will be out to a ballgame tonight so I'll pickup a Blimpie wrap for dinner. I have to stay away from the concession stand at the game, those polish dogs are NOT good for me. I will spiff up the house and maybe a load of laundry tonight when I do get home. I like to get already for the weekend as that is when my hubby comes home!

Have a great day

Good morning. I'm gonna grab a quick bite of breakfast, hit the shower, take the kids to school and then head out for a nice long power walk this morning before I have to pick Max back up.

The rest of the day is up in the air, but I need to hit the grocery store.

LOL...you're doing better than I do without the posts in front of me. I'm lucky if I can remember who I'm responding to and why....Good thing the post is down below so I can actually get something done.

I was headed to Pilates tonight but I've opted out.

I definitely got up on the wrong side of the bed this morning. The daily irritations of life are irritating me. I think it's supposed to be that Aunt Flo time of month and even though she's disappeared once again her baggage lives on. I was so happy when I reached that year mark and then to start all over again and now again with the hot flashes, mood swings and the other medical fiascos of the year past just making me a grump or as I've dubbed myself the "b***ch on wheels. I've even got on striped socks like the Wicked Witch from the Wizard of Oz to fit my mood of the day. Dealing with the public all day long and being in this frame of mind sometimes is not a good combination-but fortunately for the few that have deserved to have their heads bitten off (coworker included) I have retained one of my other nicer personalities to deal with them. Hopefully the family can back away slowly and let me have my "moment" and then this too will pass. Well now that I have whined and moaned enough I will attempt to find something edible in the fridge for lunch before heading back to the paying job.

I can sure identify with your kitty routine. I have 3 cats and 2 Yorkies who refuse to be house broken. I feel like the Tidy Bowl man!!! Love your term "gak." LOL!
