I do not have time this morning for much posting but I will do yours. WW is the best plan out there (can you tell I have done it before) and everyone can do it. I am trying WW Core plan and although my weight loss has been slow it is on a down hill slide. I have about 20 ro 25 pounds to loose so its only 1 pound or less for me each week. But the most important thing is I can do it while having my family around and I do not feel like I am missing something. About exercise they claim the easiest and one of the best is walking. Start out slow and work into a quicker pace and a longer time out there. I purchased the Leslie Sansone Walk Away the Pounds Videos and I love them. I even have my MIL doing them from time to time. I know my library has them to rent. Might be a good place for you to start and try a few different ones. I am sure you will get tons of responses to this post because everyone here does something a little different for each of us. If you talk to others at your next WW meeting, get some feedback from them. Good luck in what ever you do and remember to pace yourself. Any WW questions, please feel free to ask. There is also a WW board here at ivillage.

Just wanted to congratulate you on getting started and for getting out and going to Weight Watchers. When I can't get outside and walk I also do the Leslie Sansone WATP videos. They are easy to follow and since I can suffer from aching knees and joints I find they're kind of easy on the body. I also have a Tamilee Webb stretching tape that I really enjoy. Great idea if you can rent or borrow them first to see if you like them and don't aggravate your knee problem. It's great that your DH is doing this along with you and you have a walking partner. Best of luck and glad to have you here with us!
