And how was your day?

It was an absolutely beautiful day here. The temperature was in the 60's with a slight breeze. Definitely needed a sweatshirt this morning but by walk time the sweatshirt was off. Thousands of people at this walk. I do have to say I had to break away from the group as we were packed in and just moving at snails pace. Just couldn't see walking 6 miles that way. Dh knew I needed to go and I did. It really was a beautiful park and it was around a lake at the sight of the 1964-65 World's Fair here in NY. Starting and ending point was at the unisphere. I completed it in about an hour and 20 minutes and so far have not needed the Ben Gay-but there's always tomorrow!

Treated myself to a manicure this afternoon, treated the family to some very tasty Chicken Parmigana for dinner and even made a turkey meatloaf for tomorrow's dinner. We went to the nursery and got some ideas for the landscaping-now we just have to wait for his final figure. Final act of the day was a walk with Otto who, must have been reading my mind decided on a shortened version. Think I'm ready for a shower and a very good night's sleep!

How did you spend your day? Did you also enjoy a beautiful autumn day?

2nd day back on South Beach Diet, and so far so good. I posted so late under the morning post that I've already mentioned most of what I've done. I'm helping Rob with a nutrition project now.

Great job on your walk! You might want to use the Ben-Gay and some Motrin as a preventative, so you don't feel it tomorrow. You were pretty ambitious in the kitchen after all that walking, plus another walk with Otto! I would think you will be able to sleep well!

I walked 4 hours on the beach, but it didn't seem like autumn. It was beautiful and pretty crowded too.

Hi, it was a beautiful day here in Northern Wyoming. It must have been close to 80 degrees. I mowed the lawn and took my puppies for a walk. I am trying to teach them to walk on leashes without pulling my arm out of the socket...any hints? I also went for a 3 mile run, it was just gorgeous outside. It sounds like you got quite a workout Susan!

Have a good night.
