How did everybody's day wind up?

During computer breaks I managed to get some laundry done, scrub a couple of floors, trim the talles row of shrubs, and a few other household things. The roast turned out well, so the guys are happy campers.

I've stuck to SB today. Didn't make it to the weight bench yet, but should have gotten some good upper and lower body exercise with the scrubbing and trimming. My calves aren't sore from yesterday any more.

Looking forward to a relaxing evening after the dishes are finished.

Who's next?

It's been a pretty good day all around. Bypassed the chocolate and the muffins in the office and opted for the good things brought from home. Dinner was very good-Parmesan turkey meatloaf from my Weight Watchers cookbook, vegetable side dish from the same cookbook that even my not so crazy about vegetables DD thought was quite tasty and some hash brown potatoes made from a recipie in the American Heart Association cookbook. Had a rather spirited walk with the beast and who needs weights when you have a 56 lb dog attempting to get some well chewed very adhered to the pavement gum up. Always using those arm muscles while trying to divert Otto from the waste products left behind from those traveling to and from the local schools. I've done some pilates and think I'll tackle the load of laundry in the dryer and then that's it for me.

Hope you've all enjoyed a good day.

Got finished with my workout just before I checked my flight reservations. 3.25 mi on the treadmill in 41 min, a very solid LB workout (leg press, weighted squats, and weighed side lunges - can't do the forward ones), front leg kicks, side leg kicks, and rear leg kicks with ankle weights (2.5 lb), and 150 weighted crunches. Didn't have to reduce weights any from recent lack of effort; around 220 on the highest leg press rep, 8 to 10 lb on squats and lunges, and about 105 on the crunches. Wahoo!

Did well on SB today, too. I'm quite hungry right now, but I'm going to shower before I have a light dinner; another bottle of water should take the edge off. Fauxtatoes are going to have to wait another night.

I posted the Turkey Parmesan loaf and succotash in a separate post. If you're interested in the hash browns let me know and I'll post that one too. Another super easy one!

It has been a good Monday here but not at all what I had planned when I went to bed last night.

Thanks, Patty! A TV blurb truly is worth a thousand words.

With all the manual labor and working out you did today you probably burned off what you ate. At the rate you're going, you'll be able to RUN to Asheville (and beat us there)!

SUPER workout! You get a gold star. I may have to head to the weight bench even at this late hour. ;-)

We broke down and got hot fudge sundaes Saturday night. Not because we were really craving fat, but because we were in a panic at the thought of the ice cream stand closing for the season. Turns out they're now open year round!

I still haven't been able to finish a day's worth of food on the Fat to Muscle diet. It's just too much! I've changed my evening dinner starch to popcorn, because I LOVE to have a HUGE bowl of popcorn and watch TV at night lately, must be the cold weather coming on. But I just had three cups, which equals one serving of starch.

My back seized up on Friday, so I haven't been able to exercise except for a dance lesson and a walk in the woods. It gets better every day, so maybe by this weekend I can actually work up a sweat.
