Really was a mixed bag of things around here today. Of course I got my good medical news but first the call from DD that her boss is cutting her pay by $125 a week. This guy is such a low life. First he takes her off commission during the busy season and puts her on salary obviously to lower her paycheck. Now that it's slow season where her salary is more than if she was on commission he's decided she's making too much. Her student loans are on the rise and I think she's come to the conclusion that she's never going to make enough money to warrant what she's spending on loans for her degree and that was with a partial scholarship. I was so worried about his when she decided to go to art school but photography is such a passion with her that it's hard to tell someone not to follow their dreams. She keeps looking for any other kind of job and she has everyone keeping an eye out but so many places are outsourcing or hiring from within or just not hiring. I feel so badly for her. She's smart, creative and talented but so very sad at the moment.

Work was really busy especially this afternoon and we have an update on a program we use for calendar, client cases and contacts as well as billing. Some new things to get used to but the program and what it can do looks really good.

Dinner was very good although I have to say I'm just really not a beef eater. There's so many other things I enjoy other a steak. My Cooking Light sauteed potatoes were excellent! Of course my non vegetable eating family didn't have much to say about the vegetables.

Otto and I went out for a very chilly walk this evening. We ventured out and I bundled up and the walk away from the house I thought this isn't so bad but coming back the wind was right in my face.

At the moment I'm trying to calm Mr.Otto down. DS started up the mighty mighty Mustang and it just freaks him out. Of course it didn't help that he insisted on being outside and was right by the car when DS started it. So now he's in major meltdown!

I'm also trying to figure out why at 53 I'm still getting zits! Is there no mercy? Big zit right in the middle of my chin!

I know I'm supposed to be cleaning up the Christmas debris but I just can't get up the energy to get my motor running to get started. I've put on my jammies and really think I'm calling it a night.

Sweet dreams everyone!

I haven't seen McKenna almost six months so I'm starting to put her Easter Basket together.

Figure I need to make this a quick check in.......I booted Robbie off the computer for like 10 minutes with the promise I would vacate the seat upon checking my board. Work was calm for a change and under control. I did great with my food intake and my water and my vitamins unfortunately I never did exercise. I think I will head upstairs and get under my blankets. It is very chilly outside and Bill and Billy are out there in the car trailer working on Billy's mustang. Way too cold for me. But then again, that is what they love to do. Susan did I show you Billy's mustang. I can not remember. I will attach a picture from this past summer.

Breakfast: Oatmeal with cinnamon and unsweetened apple sauce, two cups of tea w/skim milk

Snack: Canned pineapples

Lunch: Bowl of homemade vegetable soup, 2 slices of warmed Roast Beef

Snack: Edamame and a Banana

Dinner: Grilled pork chop, brown rice, broccoli and skim milk

Have a great night ladies.

Your DD's boss should crawl back under his rock. Sounds like a real creep. Sure hope something better turns up for her soon.

Don't feel rained on about the zits. My T-zone is oilier than many teens. Rob asked me about it the other night. Geez!! I think there should be a law of nature that once you have wrinkles it is physically impossible to get a breakout.

Other than a big trip to Costco and what was supposed to be a research trip to Relax the Back, I didn't do a whole lot today. I was ready for a rest day. I did get a catalog for Mom and Dad at Relax the Back and wound up getting a little gadget that's supposed to help with headaches, stress, improved immune system, etc., mainly for Tim, but I'll probably wind up being the one to use it. Patty and Donna, I thought about you and your headaches.
