On happiness...

Success_and_happiness1_copy "Happiness, is not a feeling or an experience, it is an ethical state of being. It means judging that you have made the right choices and done the right things, and enjoyed a measure of luck along the way.

Where and when you are born, how the play of daily contingency affects you, do not determine your happiness, but they do constrain it. And so it often seems as though the choices of everyday life, cosmically small though they are, matter far more than events in distant capitals and war zones.

Good Morning,

It's a gloomy and dark Friday outside. But lots of inner sunshine with it being Friday and payday. My Christmas tree is officially undressed and my living room floor looks like a pine forest. I finally finished up this morning and I'll go to work with the fresh scent of pine all over me. This evening I'll finish packing everything up and DH whether he likes it or not is hauling this thing out of here. If he doesn't move around whatever he's moving around in the basement this stuff is going back in the upstairs storage closet or back in the basement whether anyone likes it or not. Although he put DD's air conditioner in the middle of the closet which makes moving around in there virtually impossible.

I'm moving a bit slow this morning although I did get up to do my 30 minute basement time and I've got a bit of the munchies this morning so better bring some extra healthy snacks to keep out of the Friday morning bagel basket.

Well better get moving. I have a bank deposit to get together and want to get to the bank before work and avoid the lunch hour rush.

To everyone under the weather or recuperating hope you're feeling better. Those having snow-enjoy it if you like it-personally you can have it!

Hope everyone has a fantastic Friday!

Erin and I stood in line for 4 hours to get tickets to see the Bee Gees in their heyday. She was even Barry Gibb for Halloween that year. LOL! They were incredible with an entire orchestra on transparent, lighted risers and brother Andy as their surprise guest.

I've had more than one person comment on my ex-husband's "Bee Gee-like appearance" after seeing my wedding picture with all of his hair & beard, lol! Not quite Barry Gibb, though - boy, was Barry Gibb a hunk in his day! My college friends & I went to see the Bee Gees in concert when I was about 18 or 19 at Dodger Stadium! They were so good! Andy Gibb performed, also. I've also seen Fleetwood Mac in concert, and they were great! Still love my 70's music.
