Good morning everyone. Phyllis ,it was wonderful to see your post yesterday. Think of you often.Sent you a note but not sure I had the postage exactly right; I need to double check that. Donna, how's your weather? Has the ice made it to you

Good morning! I'll be taking it down a notch from yesterday. I really did more in the yard than I should have, but it felt good and the yard looks so much better. There's still a large pile of leaves that needs to be spread and other areas that need to be raked, but they'll still be there.

After the heat of yesterday, the temperature is supposed to start dropping some here, so it'll be only 48 tonight. We may be in the 30's by Friday and Saturday. Those ice storms in the Midwest that are moving east look just devastating! I hope anyone in those areas is staying safe and warm. Try not to be on the highways, if at all possible. Patty, any sign of snow in the forecast for you yet?

I'm getting my hair carmelized this morning

Good Morning,

Another day of gray and from what I understand the temperature is headed down to more January like weather for this area.

Had my meeting with my treadmill this morning. As much as I don't like hearing that alarm at 4:45 I'm finding that I'm really enjoying this morning workout time. Pushed the speed a little harder this morning and I'm not sure how well the old body will respond but I'm sure it will let me know!

My bills are paid and I can almost see the top of my desk again. On to the next step of getting this stuff in the filing cabinet. I think after Otto and I take our stroll this evening I need to head to Target. I was suppose to replace a Christmas gift for DD's BF that went elsewhere and I've forgotten to go over to purchase it. They're headed down from MA this weekend and I really need to take care of this. Just hoping I can find it. DD looked it Best Buy yesterday and she couldn't find it. I originally purchased it in Target so hoping they have it.

I think DH was in major withdrawal from lack of stovetop meatballs and sauce so I prepared the meatballs and he prepared the sauce last night for this evening's menu. I found a small eggplant in the fridge so I think I'll sautee that up for me to throw in my sauce. I also washed up all my greens so no excuse for not having a nice green salad to go along with it.

Time to get moving and ready for the paying job. Hope everyone that has such very cold temperatures stay safe and warm! Anyone feeling under the weather feel better soon! And to all have a great day!

Good Morning!

I've been absent for a few days...Flo's impending arrival and then actual arrival.

I think it'd be awesome for you to get certified to teach. Hope you can do it. It's good to hear your cold is on the way out. If possible, try to stay warm. I don't know how you hardy souls survive in those temperatures!

You deserve a lot of credit for getting up so early to get on your treadmill. It'd be all I could do to turn out the alarm at that hour! ;-) Also, you get more done before work than many people do in half

Sassy, really sorry to hear you're having such a time of it this month. Hormones are wild and wacky things. When people see how curly my hair has turned after being stick straight all my life, it's proof positive that something has been going on! I hope you're back to 100% today.

Congratulations to Sara for her team's win! Hearing about Anne Arundel makes me think of Arundel Mills!!! I know I have a one track mind. LOL! Best of luck to them in the tournament.

I'm with you about gifts. I especially love to give them.

Take care today and try to build yourself up for all that activity coming up this weekend. Never a dull moment around there.

Hugs,

Yowza on those temperatures! I'd be hibernating.

No wonder you're tired with the schedule you're keeping. Hope you get a chance for some you time and just to rest a bit.
