Wet Wednesday Check-ins

It's been a Wet Wednesday here with chilly, blowing drizzle throughout much of the day. I heard there were gale force winds at times, up to 35 mph on bridges and 40 mph at the beach. Glad I stayed inside all day except to get the mail and take the trash out a few times.

I actually cooked tonight -- chicken stir fry, and it was SO good. It's been quite a while since I've had it and it really hit the spot. Of course, Rob wasn't hungry, because he'd been to McDonald's for the cheap burgers today. Any other time he'd be begging me to cook. Tim's never home at a decent hour to eat. We've talked on the phone a lot and emailed some.

I've been doing some laundry, changing Rob's linens, getting a good start on cleaning out our 42" wide, 4-drawer lateral file in here (What a mess! Can't imagine how much all the discards will weigh!), got side tracked reading love letters and cards that were stored in the file (sigh....),

Yummm, your stir-fry sounds delish, Rhonda.

So sorry about your sister's kitty--so hard to do.

As you posted about your windy beaches, ours were on the warm side today.

I checked it out after I saw your post. Salma's dress actually looks better in the still photo than it did on TV. She's just too short and chunky to wear that style, plus she's a bit obvious with the cleavage. We know she's got it. She doesn't have to put it in everyone's face every time she's in public. I thought Drew Barrymore looked very good.

We thought Drew looked the best she has at these award shows, very classy.
