Good Morning,

Not quite as cold as yesterday and heard tell that some rain/snow mixture is headed this way. They say don't worry it won't amount to anything...that always makes me worry :)!

I never did get back to the board last night. I got in from walking Otto and DH was firmly attached to the computer chair playing solitaire so I changed into my flannel jammies sat in the chair I sort of remember needing to hit the rewind on Tivo several times but basically don't remember much of anything until DH woke me up at 11 to go to bed.

Kept my morning date with a workout this morning. Feels good to accomplish that first thing. Dinner prep is done-Cooking Light version of Sesame Chicken with noodles.

It was a very long day at work yesterday and I'm really hoping that today is not a repeat.

Otto and I will hopefully get in our evening walk and then I need to run the vaccum through the house. DD and BF will arrive tomorrow evening and I know the dog hair really bothers him so I'll try to get as much up as I can. Although by tomorrow it will probably be all back. I could probably vaccum twice a day every day and still not get it all!

Thankfuls:

Big ski jackets that keep me warm.

Warm house

Remote start on the car

A little bit of daylight remaining when I exit the office building at 5

Cooking Light recipes

All my special friends here

That's about it from this neck of the woods. Hope you all enjoy a terrific Thursday!

Good morning everyone.......another work day! Well last night was spent watching American Idol and my two TIVOed shows. It is very chilly here and I am not liking it one bit. Too chilly to go out east these past two weeks so our horse time has been limited. Not that I am complaining, lol. I did not sleep well last night worried about what will play out here in our office. My boss called me and one of the other workers in this morning and told me straight up not to worry and they we will get through this. First off he is going to give me a raise starting Feb 1st. He did not say how much but I guess I will find out soon enough. I am hoping for at least $2.00 an hour extra. He understands I do not want to work full time and would like me to pick up a few more hours a week but will work with me on a new schedule. One of the other ladies who has been here for 20 years told me to not worry, things will work out fine. Well work is pretty quiet and we are supposed to have lunch together. From this job I will be heading to the shop to give Bill a hand. His mom is still home sick but getting better slowly. Yesterday when he walked in the door he looked exhausted. He said if mom does not come back next week he is going to have to hire someone. I know we need to be thankful for having a busy business especially this time of the year. Usually the month of Jan it gets really slow. Well best to get back to work here. Hope you all have a great day!

Thankfuls:
My restarting and trying WW again. Having the support of Aunt Linda this time. My warm safe home. A family that loves me and supports me. A job that I can still grow in yet give me the flexability.

Loved your post this morning, Patty. It's always good to start the day off with a smile or laughs, plus the message was good. I'm thinking more and more about putting more joy in the present.

I've got my linens stripped and a load of laundry going. When I finish here, the kitchen and breakfast room floors await. :-\ I'm continuing to de-clutter the lateral file and creating a mountain of trash while I'm at it.

Thankfuls:

1. Even though we're having a little precipitation, at least we're in the upper 40's to upper 50's range and should be sunny and mid-70's again by Sunday.

2. Getting to work in the yard with Rob and seeing the improvements, as well as feeling good working in the sun

3. Knowing that even though the days are still pretty short, they're getting longer daily

4. Seeing robins, my tulip tree and other floral blossoms, and seeing some butterflies

5. Family and local and long distance phone calls from them

6. Pool services

7. Hair highlights and trips to the salon

8. All of you

Have a great day!

Hi Everybody,

Oh Princess, I want to feel that joy. I just don't know how to get it right now.

Thankfuls:

1)I don't get to post as often as I would like but I'm thankful for this site.

2)My DD and DS who I love dearly.

3)My cat with her unconditional love.

4)My job. Even though it's a struggle somtimes, I'm lucky to be employed.

5)For God who carries my through each day.

I am going to get on my treadmill when I get home. Will let the music carry me away.

Have a great day.
